Monahan, \u200dthere is &#8220;no evidence&#8221; of a stroke or seizure disorder. Monahan&#8217;s letter, released \u200dby \u2064McConnell&#8217;s office, provided\u200d limited explanation for the recent freeze-ups\u200b that have \u2062raised questions about\u200b the 81-year-old&#8217;s condition.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, McConnell experienced another freeze-up during a \u2063press conference \u200din Kentucky, where\u200d he was unable to respond \u2062to a question. This incident followed a similar episode a month prior.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;There\u200c is no evidence that you have\u2062 a seizure disorder \u2064or that you \u2064experienced \u2063a stroke, TIA or movement disorder such as Parkinson\u2019s disease,&#8221; Monahan wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The assessments\u200d conducted by Monahan included\u2063 a brain \u200cMRI imaging and consultations with multiple neurologists. These evaluations were prompted by McConnell&#8217;s fall and concussion earlier \u2064this year.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;There are\u2063 no changes recommended in treatment protocols as \u2062you continue\u2062 recovery from your March\u2062 2023 fall,&#8221; the doctor\u200c stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Following last week&#8217;s\u200b freeze-up, McConnell was cleared by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pelosi-extends-remote-voting-period-for-house-lawmakers-citing-pandemic\/\" title=\"Pelosi Extends Remote-Voting Period For House Lawmakers, Citing Pandemic\">attending physician<\/a> \u2063to proceed with his planned schedule.
