By Tuesday afternoon, all of the \u2062defendants had pleaded not guilty in court files and forfeited their right to an arraignment hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Meadows had been charged by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis with two state crimes which included violating Georgia\u2019s anti-racketeering RICO law and soliciting a public official to\u2063 violate their oath. <\/p>\n<p>These charges came after a phone call where Trump and Meadows allegedly\u200c pressed Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to \u201cfind\u201d enough votes to flip the election \u200bresults in Trump\u2019s\u200d favor.<\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, Meadows is attempting to transfer his case from \u2062state to federal court, where he hopes\u200c to get \u200dthe indictment dismissed by citing immunity that protects many federal employees from litigation.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2063 former chief appeared on oath for more than three\u200b hours in August at a high-stakes hearing, claiming\u200b that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mark-meadows-pleads-not-guilty-in-georgia-case\/\" title=\"Meadows denies guilt in Georgia case.\">alleged actions listed<\/a> in \u2064the \u2063Georgia indictment were related to his formal government duties as Trump\u2019s chief of \u200dstaff.<\/p>\n<p>The federal judge who will decide whether to remand the case has yet to rule.<\/p>\n<p>However,\u2062 during a hearing last week,\u2063 United States District Judge\u2062 Steve Jones stated that if the case was not\u2064 moved to federal court, the former chief would not be excused from arraignment.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
