But that\u200d inability did not stop the program from recommending additional \u2063shots.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Weighing the \u2062potential risks of COVID-19 vaccination and the benefits of \u2064preventing COVID-19, the SMEs provided their \u2063opinion that the patient\u2062 should receive future COVID-19 \u200dvaccinations,&#8221;\u200c the Feb. 24, \u200d2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23935453-cisa-2023-letter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">letter<\/a> to the patient&#8217;s \u200bdoctor \u200dstated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Other Letters<\/h3>\n<p>The Epoch Times obtained, through the Freedom of Information\u2062 Act,\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23935464-cisa-letters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">letters<\/a> sent by CISA to\u2062 physicians.<\/p>\n<p>CISA features experts with \u200dthe CDC and other institutions, including Vanderbilt University, Boston Medical \u2064Center, and \u2062Johns Hopkins University collaborating to respond to doctors who ask the program to review patient cases and provide \u200crecommendations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;CISA provides consultations for U.S. healthcare providers with\u2062 complex vaccine safety questions about \u200btheir patients and conducts vaccine safety clinical research,&#8221;\u200c the CDC states <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccinesafety\/ensuringsafety\/monitoring\/cisa\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The first COVID-19 vaccines were authorized and \u2062recommended in December 2020. From Dec. 1, \u20622020, through June 1, 2023, CISA provided 48 recommendations \u200bto doctors dealing with COVID-19 vaccines, the records show.<\/p>\n<p>In 39.5 percent of the cases, CISA recommended another vaccination. In 23 percent of \u2064the \u200dcases, CISA \u2062recommended against another vaccination. \u200bIn 14.5 percent of the cases, CISA said there \u200bwere \u200cno reasons patients could not receive more doses. In the remaining cases, \u200dCISA advised reassessing the matter down the\u2062 road \u200cor advising a patient who had not yet\u200c received a vaccine to receive \u2064a vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>The recommendations\u200b for future\u200b doses came even in cases where\u2062 CISA was unable to say the vaccine did not cause the adverse event.<\/p>\n<p>A small\u200b number of cases led to the determination that the vaccination caused an adverse \u2062event.<\/p>\n<p>In six instances, CISA experts determined that the event was &#8220;consistent with\u200c causal \u2063association,&#8221; or caused by the vaccination, because the condition suffered by each patient was &#8220;a known \u2063possible adverse event following immunization.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In all six cases, experts recommended against additional doses while advising \u200bthe \u2062doctors caring for the patients \u200bto follow up with\u2063 the \u200bpatients to\u2064 figure\u200c out\u200d which non-COVID vaccines the patients could safely receive.<\/p>\n<p>CISA experts also advised against additional\u200d COVID-19 vaccine doses in five other cases. The designations\u2063 in those cases were also indeterminate, making the differences between \u2064them and those that resulted in recommendations for\u200b future doses unclear apart from\u2063 several involving people who had expressed opposition to receiving \u200cmore shots.<\/p>\n<p>In \u200dseven other cases, CISA experts\u200d said\u200d there were no contraindications, or no reasons for not\u200c receiving at least one additional dose. The CDC has maintained <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/covid-19\/clinical-considerations\/interim-considerations-us.html#contraindications\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a short list<\/a> \u2062that currently\u2062 includes just\u200c two contraindications for the COVID-19 vaccines\u2014a \u200chistory of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pfizer-hired-600-employees-due-to-large-increase-of-adverse-event-reports\/\" title=\"Pfizer Hired 600 Employees Due to \u201cLarge Increase of Adverse Event Reports\u201d\">severe allergic shock<\/a> \u200dor a history \u200dof a known diagnosed allergy to a \u2063component of one of the shots.<\/p>\n<p>Patients with other conditions, such as heart inflammation after COVID-19 \u2064vaccination,\u2063 are generally advised to avoid additional doses, the CDC says in \u200bthe list. But that is only a\u200d &#8220;precaution,&#8221; not a contraindication.<\/p>\n<p>CISA also advised\u2062 doctors of \u200bnine of the patients to \u200creassess future \u2063COVID-19 vaccination down the road and, in two of the cases, told doctors that patients who had not yet\u2062 received a COVID vaccine could receive\u2063 one.<\/p>\n<h2>Hidden Information<\/h2>\n<p>The case of the\u200b patient with kidney disease was the only one in the CISA records obtained by The Epoch\u200b Times that the specific adverse\u2062 event or events\u2063 following COVID-19 \u200dvaccination was disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>The CDC claimed that the diagnosis information was protected under federal law, which provides exemptions that enable \u2062government officials\u200d to withhold some information. The CDC redacted \u200cthe\u200c diagnosis information\u2063 and \u2062some \u2063other portions\u2062 of the letters, such as the names of the CISA experts \u2063who penned them.<\/p>\n<p>The agency has not\u200c explained why one diagnosis was provided while the others were not.<\/p>\n<p>The Epoch Times has filed an appeal with the U.S. Department\u2064 of Health a<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A network of experts, both from within and outside the US government, consistently advised administering extra shots to individuals experiencing negative effects after COVID-19 vaccination.
