Joe Biden\u2019s work while he was\u2062 a junior editor for the \u200bHarvard Journal.<\/p>\n<p>His findings were less than impressive \u2014 but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wapo-scared-say-biden-lying-instead-claims-retelling-stories-cant-verified\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hardly surprising<\/a> if you\u2019ve been keeping up with the incumbent president at all.<\/p>\n<h3>Plagiarism\u200b at Harvard<\/h3>\n<p>When RealClearInvestigations senior writer Mark Hemingway took to \u2064X \u2062to lambaste Biden, he specifically mentioned \u2063that the president has \u201cbeen \u2063busted for plagiarism repeatedly.\u201d Those\u2062 comments obviously triggered some sort of flashback in Severino, who quote-posted\u2062 Hemingway to share his own damning story of Biden.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">My first assignment as a junior editor \u2063at the Harvard Journal on Legislation (1999-2000) was to cite check an \u2064article submitted by one Sen. Joseph\u2062 R. Biden.\u200d I was shocked by the plagiarism I discovered.  <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0CSqJBZR7E\">https:\/\/t.co\/0CSqJBZR7E<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Roger Severino \u200c(@RogerSeverino_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RogerSeverino_\/status\/1698679942605627495?\">September 4, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The allegedly plagiarized piece is available online, if you\u2019re morbidly curious. Severino helpfully shared \u2063a\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.law.harvard.edu\/jol\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/86\/2023\/02\/37HarvJonLegis1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link to it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy \u2064first assignment as a junior editor\u200d at the Harvard Journal on Legislation\u2062 (1999-2000) was to cite check an article submitted by one Sen. Joseph R. Biden. I\u2064 was\u200c shocked by the \u200cplagiarism I \u2062discovered,\u201d Severino\u2062 posted to \u200cX.<\/p>\n<p>In subsequent posts, Severino mentioned several examples of Biden\u2019s plagiarism\u2063 at work.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">That\u2019s when I noticed that a certain\u2062 turn of phrase \u2063in an\u2064 opinion sounded oddly familiar even though it was my time reading it.\u2064 So I turned back to Biden\u2019s article, and \u2064there it was. He\u200b had \u2064lifted language straight out of a SCOTUS\u2063 opinion, changed a couple words, \u200cand called\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Roger Severino\u200c (@RogerSeverino_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RogerSeverino_\/status\/1698680299876401472?\">September\u200d 4, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cCite checking \u200cinvolves formatting case\u2062 citations \u200bunder highly \u200cprescribed rules and searching Westlaw to make sure the cases haven\u2019t been overruled or superseded. Because I was interested in the \u2064article\u2019s topic (civil rights) \u200cI read \u2063a bunch of\u2064 the cited\u2062 cases all the way through,\u201d Severino began.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s when I\u200d noticed that a certain \u2063turn of phrase in an opinion\u200b sounded oddly familiar even though it \u2064was\u200b my time reading it. So I turned back to Biden\u2019s article, and there it was. He had lifted language straight out of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/flashback-time-scotus-officially-declared-us-christian-nation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SCOTUS<\/a> opinion, changed a couple words, and called them his \u200bown. \u200cThere were no quote marks and no footnote or \u200danything else attributing the court as the source,\u201d Severino said.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, Biden\u2019s understanding of plagiarism appears to be on par with that \u2064of a \u2063<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/harvard-attorney-who-reviewed-biden-article-was-shocked-by-the-plagiarism-he-discovered\/\" title=\"Harvard attorney astounded by plagiarism in Biden article.\">lazy grade school \u2062student<\/a> who forgot his paper was \u2064due tomorrow. \u2064It \u2064can\u2019t be understated \u2062that this is a sitting U.S. lawmaker \u2014 feigning ignorance on this matter would be almost as bad as admitting\u200d he plagiarized.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">They \u201cfixed\u201d the plagiarism by adding proper attributions and acted like\u2063 the whole incident\u2063 never happened. \u2062But this was no\u2063 innocent mistake, where Biden \u201cforgot\u201d \u200da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tim-graham-the-media-avoids-every-biden-fiasco\/\" title=\"Tim Graham: The Media Avoids Every Biden Fiasco\">quote mark<\/a> or two which would be bad enough.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Roger Severino \u2064(@RogerSeverino_) \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RogerSeverino_\/status\/1698680303307407657?\">September 4, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI then read \u200cthe piece\u200b through again \u2062and multiple\u2062 other phrases sounded familiar. Turns \u2063out they too were plagiarized from \u2063opinions. \u200cI believe this merited rejecting the article\u200b outright for plagiarism so I emailed the lead editor and presented the indisputable proof. Instead of\u200b thanking me \u2062for protecting the integrity of the Journal, they\u2064 covered for\u2064 Biden,\u201d Severino continued.<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cThey \u2063\u2018fixed\u2019 the plagiarism by adding proper attributions and acted like the\u200c whole incident never \u200bhappened.\u2064 But this\u200c was no\u200b innocent mistake, where Biden\u2063 \u2018forgot\u2019 a quote mark or two which would be bad enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The swampy elite covering for Biden is\u2062 hardly \u200canything new, \u200cbut it\u2019s still \u200djarring to be reminded of how long\u200c this protection racket has been going\u2064 on.<\/p>\n<p>Severino went on \u200dto describe this phenomena of changing a couple words and trying to pass it off as\u200d original \u2014\u200c \u201cmosaic plagiarism\u201d \u2014 and how Biden was exhibiting \u2063clear signs of \u201cconsciousness of guilt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s when \u2062Severino revealed why this incident was so bad:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Worse \u200bstill, Biden was *already* known to have plagiarized before this article crossed my\u200b desk \u200byet was \u2063brazen enough \u2062to try it\u200d again.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Roger Severino (@RogerSeverino_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RogerSeverino_\/status\/1698680307166117960?\">September 4, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWorse still, \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-bizarrely-says-no-home-go-claims-not-vacationing-beach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> was *already* known to have\u200b plagiarized before this\u200b article crossed my desk yet was brazen enough to try\u2064 it again,\u201d Severino posted.<\/p>\n<p>Look, \u2062if Severino \u2064just began posting these allegations out of the\u2064 blue, perhaps you \u200ddo offer up Biden some tiny \u200bbenefit\u2062 of the doubt. Surely, \u2063nobody could lack as many scruples as Biden appears\u2062 to \u2026\u2062 right?<\/p>\n<p>Wrong. And don\u2019t \u2062take this writer\u2019s\u200b word for it.<\/p>\n<p>Listen\u200b to\u2064 Biden\u2019s staunch allies in\u2063 the establishment \u200bmedia.<\/p>\n<p>The very thing that sparked this wild revelation about the\u200d utter dishonor this president exhibits\u2064 was \u200ca Washington Post \u201canalysis\u201d by their paper\u2019s \u200d\u201cfact checker,\u201d \u2063in which the outlet basically admits that Biden\u2019s a pathological liar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden loves to\u200d retell certain\u2064 stories. Some aren\u2019t credible\u201d is the title of\u2063 that astoundingly soft <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2023\/08\/31\/biden-loves-retell-certain-stories-some-arent-credible\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Post<\/a> article.<\/p>\n<p>Again, let\u2019s \u2064say as far as actual policymaking and results go,\u2063 Biden has been \u2064splendid (to be clear, he hasn\u2019t been).<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re still left with a man with \u2063no honor, \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jill-bidens-ex-husband-alleges-dangerous-biden-crime-family-come-35-years-row\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">no respect<\/a> \u2062 for marriage, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-joe-biden-tries-hide-visible-anger-doocy-asks-granddaughter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">no\u2062 love<\/a> for his own family. Oh, \u2062and \u2063he\u2019s probably \u2063more corrupt than the \u20631919 Chicago\u200b White Sox.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s no \u200bleader.
