This comes after India surpassed China as\u2062 the world&#8217;s most populous nation earlier this year. \u2064President Joe Biden expressed \u2062his \u200cdisappointment \u200dat \u2063Xi&#8217;s absence, as the summit was expected to \u2062be an\u2064 opportunity\u200b for the two leaders to meet. Instead,\u2064 Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will represent \u200cRussia.
