The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mom-lands-100000-legal-win-after-school-secretly-transitions-daughter\/\" title=\"Mom wins 0k after school secretly transitions daughter.\">district secretly socially transitioned<\/a> the woman&#8217;s 11-year-old daughter, Alicia, without\u200c her knowledge or consent.<\/p>\n<p>Jessica Konen, Alicia&#8217;s mother, was shocked to discover that her daughter was being referred to with male\u2064 pronouns\u2064 by teachers at\u200b Buena Vista Middle\u200d School. Not only that, \u2063but Alicia was also\u200b allowed to use the boys&#8217; bathroom. Konen had no idea any of this was\u2064 happening.<\/p>\n<p>After the ruling, Konen spoke out, urging parents to be bold and fight for their\u200c children&#8217;s rights. The school\u200c then actively facilitated Alicia&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/abbott-asks-department-of-family-protective-services-to-say-whether-trans-surgeries-for-kids-are-child-abuse\/\" title=\"Abbott Asks Department Of Family Protective Services To Say Whether Trans Surgeries For Kids Are Child Abuse\">social gender transition<\/a>,\u200b even providing\u2064 her with articles on how to conceal\u200d her new\u2064 gender identity from her mother.<\/p>\n<p>When Konen eventually discovered what \u200cwas happening, the school tried to further conceal the transition \u2063by referring to Alicia by her given name and female pronouns in front of her mother. However, when Konen\u200b was not present, Alicia\u2063 was still referred to\u2062 with male pronouns and \u200da male name.<\/p>\n<p>California has become a battleground for parental rights and gender issues. Governor Gavin Newsom targeted school board members from the Temecula Valley Unified School District who voted against controversial curriculum,\u2062 accusing \u200bthem of whitewashing history and perpetuating prejudice.
