Jordan sent a letter to Imran Ahmed, the CEO of\u200c the far-left think tank Center\u200d for Countering\u2064 Digital \u2064Hate (CCDH), demanding details about their work with the federal government to silence opponents of \u200dthe Biden administration. Jordan emphasized \u200cthe need for effective legislation to limit the Executive Branch&#8217;s ability to collaborate with social media platforms and restrict the \u2062circulation of content. The letter, available <a href=\"https:\/\/judiciary.house.gov\/sites\/evo-subsites\/republicans-judiciary.house.gov\/files\/evo-media-document\/ahmed-cover-letter.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>, highlights\u2063 the importance of understanding \u200bthe nature and extent\u2062 of the White \u200cHouse&#8217;s coercion and collusion with organizations like CCDH \u200bin order to curtail unconstitutional \u2064censorship activities.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately,\u2062 CCDH has failed to provide the House \u200dJudiciary Committee\u200c with the requested documents, hindering\u200d the committee&#8217;s constitutional \u200boversight obligations. This\u200b refusal to cooperate\u2064 raises serious concerns about\u200c the Biden administration&#8217;s collaboration with \u200dfar-left \u200corganizations to push for \u2062online censorship.<\/p>\n<h3>The Troubling Connection<\/h3>\n<p>What makes this situation even more alarming is the nature of the group\u2062 involved. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2021\/11\/03\/pro-censorship-group-center-for-countering-digital-hate-funded-by-pro-china-investment-org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Breitbart<\/a>, CCDH is a \u200cBritish nonprofit funded by the \u2064Oak Foundation, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pro-censorship-group-center-for-countering-digital-hate-funded-by-pro-china-investment-org\/\" title=\"Pro-Censorship Group Center for Countering Digital Hate Funded by Pro-China Investment Org\">shadowy investment entity based<\/a> in Geneva, Switzerland. Our Republic relies on transparency and a free \u200cexchange of \u200binformation. Allowing outside groups\u200c with hostile interests\u2064 to intervene and manipulate the conversation could \u200chave disastrous consequences for our nation.<\/p>\n<p>If these\u2064 allegations \u200dare\u2063 true,\u200c it means that the \u200bWhite \u2064House has compromised \u200dour First Amendment rights by \u200caligning\u200c with foreign \u2062interest groups. This is\u200d a significant problem\u200b that must be addressed to preserve our freedoms.<\/p>\n<p>Congress must take\u200b action\u200b to ensure that \u2063those who\u200b are hostile to our way of life have no influence over our government.
