At \u200cthat \u2064time, 80 percent of seniors were fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>The researchers also found that breakthrough\u2062 infection rates were higher among those who received the vaccine early. In fact, \u200dthey\u2062 estimated that the rates were twice as\u2064 high in individuals vaccinated five to six months prior, compared to those vaccinated three to four \u2063<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/a-short-history-of-how-anthony-fauci-has-kept-failing-up-since-1984\/\" title=\"A Short History Of How Anthony Fauci Has Kept Failing Up Since 1984\">months earlier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, the\u200b breakthrough cases began\u2062 in January 2021, \u2064according to the data.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the researchers \u2064discovered that \u2063protection against\u2063 hospitalization was also diminishing. In the week ending on \u2063July 31, \u20632021, 63 percent of COVID-19 hospitalizations \u200damong seniors \u200bwere among those who were fully vaccinated. This pattern of weaker protection was consistent among individuals vaccinated early.<\/p>\n<p>According to the calculations, the vaccine \u200ceffectiveness \u200bagainst infection was only 33 percent, while \u200dthe effectiveness against hospitalization had dropped to 57 percent.<\/p>\n<p>However,\u200b the researchers did find that \u2063seniors who had previously contracted and \u200drecovered from COVID-19 were \u200dmore likely to avoid hospitalization. \u200cRisk factors for hospitalization \u200bincluded serious \u2063underlying conditions such \u200bas obesity and being in \u200dthe oldest age\u200d group (over \u206285 years old).<\/p>\n<p>This cohort analysis was\u200b conducted on 20 million Medicare beneficiaries, including 5.6 \u200bmillion \u2064seniors who received \u200dthe primary series \u2063of a COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our observational study VE\u2062 findings show a very significant decrease in \u2064VE \u200dagainst infection\u2063 and hospitalization in the Delta phase of the pandemic for individuals vaccinated \u2062with either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine for \u2063those 5\u20136 months post vaccination vs. those\u2063 3\u20134 months post vaccination,&#8221; said\u2064 Dr. Bettina Experton, Humetrix&#8217;s president and CEO, \u2064in a \u200cSept.\u200c 15, \u20642021, email to top U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials.<\/p>\n<p>Humetrix \u2064also\u2062 uncovered alarming\u200c statistics\u2062 among \u200bthe beneficiaries, \u2064including 133,000 \u2062cases, 27,000 hospitalizations, and \u200d8,300 intensive care admissions among fully \u2063vaccinated individuals since the \u2062start of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Experton revealed that Humetrix\u2064 shared this data with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control\u200c and Prevention (CDC)\u2062 in\u200d August 2021.<\/p>\n<p>However, FDA officials expressed their\u2064 frustration at not\u200b being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bahamas-holding-3-5-billion-of-ftxs-cryptocurrency-for-safekeeping\/\" title=\"Bahamas Holding .5 Billion Of FTX\u2019s Cryptocurrency For \u2018Safekeeping\u2019\">informed earlier<\/a>. &#8220;It would have been nice\u200b to know [the military] was conducting this prior to now.\u200b Also might have been nice for CDC \u2063to share the data,&#8221; said Dr. Peter \u2063Marks.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Janet Woodcock,\u200c the FDA&#8217;s acting commissioner at the \u200ctime, responded, saying, &#8220;This is more\u2062 worrisome than the other data we have in my opinion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The presentation \u200cand emails were obtained by the Informed Consent Action Network through the Freedom \u2062of Information Act \u200b(FOIA).\u2064 Del Bigtree, the founder of the network,\u200c expressed his concern \u2063over the\u2062 failure \u200bof health authorities to \u2062assess, share, and act upon valuable real-world data. He emphasized the importance of transparency in \u200cpreventing such\u200b failures from recurring.<\/p>\n<p>Both the \u200cFDA and CDC declined to comment on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Francis Collins, \u200bthe director of the U.S. National Institutes\u200d of\u200b Health at the time, \u2063acknowledged the study&#8217;s results in an email obtained through FOIA.
