I really appreciate that. When we come to lynch your stupid\u200c lying Commie [expletive], you\u2019ll remember that you lied on the [expletive] Bible, you piece of\u200b [expletive]. You\u2019re gonna \u200ddie, you piece of [expletive]. We\u2019re going to hang you. We\u2019re going to hang you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Then, around\u200b Dec. 8, 2021, \u200bMr. \u2062Rissi \u200dleft another message \u2063via voicemail\u200d for then-Attorney General\u2062 Mark Brnovich:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis message is for Attorney General \u2063Mark Brnovich . . . . \u2064I\u2019m a victim \u200dof a crime. My family is a\u2064 victim of a crime. My extended family is\u200b a victim of a crime.\u2063 That crime was the\u200d theft of the 2020 election. The election that was fraudulent across the state of\u2063 Arizona, that the Attorney General knows was fraudulent, that the Attorney General has images of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/iowa-man-gets-prison-for-threatening-calls-to-arizona-election-officials\/\" title=\"Iowa man sentenced to prison for threatening Arizona election officials.\">conspirators \u2062deleting election fraud data<\/a> from the Maricopa County \u200bBoard of Supervisors computer system. \u200dDo your job, Brnovich, or you will hang with those [expletive] in\u200d the end. We will see to it. \u200cTorches and pitchforks.\u200c That\u2019s your future, [expletive]. Do your job.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Mr. Rissi pleaded guilty to two counts of sending\u200b a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-doj-refuses-to-prosecute-man-who-repeatedly-threatened-to-kill-fox-news-hosts\/\" title=\"Biden DOJ Refuses to Prosecute Man Who Repeatedly Threatened to Kill Fox News Hosts\">threatening interstate communication<\/a>, the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose \u2063who weaponize election protests\u2063 threaten our civility and our democracy,\u201d U.S.\u2062 Attorney \u2062Gary M.\u200d Restaino for the\u200d District of Arizona said in a statement. \u201cThanks to\u200b our partners with the Justice Department\u2019s \u2064Election Threats Task Force and the FBI for ensuring accountability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The FBI \u2064Phoenix \u200cField Office investigated the case, with assistance from the\u200b FBI Omaha \u2062Field\u200c Office, Cedar Rapids Resident\u2063 Agency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI works to ensure that threats \u200cto election\u200b officials\u2062 will not impact election results but will result in \u200blegal consequences,\u201d Assistant\u200b Director Luis Quesada of the\u2064 FBI\u2019s Criminal\u200c Investigative Division said\u200d in the statement. \u201cToday\u2019s\u200d sentencing represents the \u200dFBI and our partners\u2019 dedication \u2064to keeping American elections impenetrable from\u2063 criminal influences.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Election Threats Task Force<\/h2>\n<p>This case is part of\u2062 the Justice Department\u2019s Election Threats Task Force. Announced by Attorney General Merrick Garland\u2062 and \u200claunched by Deputy Attorney General \u200dLisa \u200bMonaco in\u200d June 2021, \u2063\u201cthe task force has led \u200dthe \u200cDepartment\u2019s efforts to address threats of violence against election workers, and to ensure that all election workers \u2013 whether \u2062elected, appointed, or volunteer \u2013 are able to do their \u200bjobs free from threats and intimidation,\u201d the\u200c statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The task force\u2063 works with \u201cthe election community,\u201d and state and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-pledges-orderly-transition-of-power\/\" title=\"President Trump pledges orderly transition of power\">local law enforcement<\/a> to assess \u2063allegations and\u2062 reports of threats \u200cagainst election workers, and has investigated and prosecuted these matters\u200d where appropriate, \u200din partnership with FBI Field Offices\u2062 and U.S. Attorneys\u2019 Offices throughout the\u2064 country.
