He also said that a special session to\u200d impeach Willis is \u201cnot \u200bfeasible and may ultimately\u2064 prove to\u2064 be unconstitutional.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>State Sen. Colton Moore (R-Ga.) \u200csaid in \u2063a letter to the \u200cgovernor earlier this month that he has the support of \u201c3\/5\u200d of each respective house\u201d in the state legislature \u2063for his\u200c efforts to impeach \u200bWillis.<\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, Moore later confirmed to the press that the statement\u2062 in the letter about having\u2063 a majority in both houses was incorrect.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p><strong>\u201cLet me \u200dbe clear: We have a law in the state of Georgia that clearly outlines the legal steps that can be taken if constituents believe their local \u200cprosecutors are violating their oath\u2063 by\u200b engaging in unethical or illegal behavior,\u201d<\/strong> Kemp said. <strong>\u201cUp to this \u200bpoint, I\u2064 have not \u200bseen any evidence that DA Willis\u2019 actions, or lack thereof, warrant action by the Prosecuting Attorney Oversight\u200d Commission.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Willis reportedly filed a motion on Tuesday\u2063 asking the Fulton County judge presiding\u200d over the case against the 45<sup>th<\/sup> president and the 18 other co-defendants to expedite the trial.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
