Newsom announces B plan to reopen schools by spring\">school district<\/a> that &#8220;socially \u200ctransitioned&#8221; her \u2063daughter without \u2063her\u200b knowledge.\u200b Jessica Konen has been awarded a \u2063six-figure settlement of $100,000\u200b by the Spreckels\u200c Union School District,\u2063 according\u2064 to the Center for American Liberty, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mother-scores-massive-legal-win-after-school-socially-transitioned-her-daughter-behind-her-back\/\" title=\"Mother wins legal battle after school secretly socially transitions her daughter.\">nonprofit legal defense group<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Center for American Liberty previously explained that \u200dKonen&#8217;s daughter, Alicia, was recruited into a school &#8220;Equality \u200cClub&#8221; when she was in sixth \u2063grade. In\u200c this club, she was \u2063exposed to information about bisexuality,\u200b transgender identities, and\u2062 other LGBT \u200cconcepts.<\/p>\n<p>After joining the club,\u200d the school began encouraging Alicia to identify as a boy, without informing her mother. They required staff to use male pronouns and \u2063a male name when\u200b referring to Alicia and\u200c allowed her to use\u200d the unisex teachers&#8217; restroom instead of \u2062the girls&#8217; restroom.<\/p>\n<p>The school even provided Alicia with articles on how to \u200bhide her new gender identity from \u2062her mother.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually, Konen discovered her \u200ddaughter&#8217;s gender transition and filed a lawsuit against the school\u200c district \u2064in June 2022. The\u2064 district has now settled the lawsuit and agreed to pay Konen \u200bthe six-figure\u200d settlement.<\/p>\n<p>In a video\u2064 posted on social \u200cmedia, Konen\u200c and Alicia celebrated the settlement, expressing their relief and satisfaction.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Center for American Liberty is proud to\u2062 announce a \u2064settlement in Konen v.
