The latest victim, Samuel Lawrence, 34, \u200bwas found unresponsive in \u2064his cell on Saturday morning. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead. The Fulton County Sheriff\u2019s Office has announced that an investigation will be conducted by the Atlanta Police Department, and an autopsy will be performed by the Fulton County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office to \u2063determine the cause and manner of death.<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/south-carolina-woman-killed-in-apparent-alligator-attack\/\" title=\"Woman in South Carolina dies in suspected alligator attack.\">unfortunate incident marks<\/a> the fourth death in a month at the \u2063Fulton County jail. Alexander\u2063 Hawkins, \u206366; Christopher Smith, 34;\u2062 and Montay Stinson, 40, have\u2063 also tragically lost their\u2062 lives\u2064 while being \u2062held at the facility.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander Hawkins was discovered unresponsive in his medical unit cell on August 14. Despite \u2064efforts to revive him, medical personnel \u2063were unable to save him. Hawkins was being held on a shoplifting charge.<\/p>\n<p>Christopher \u200bSmith, like\u200b Lawrence, was \u2064found\u2063 unresponsive in a medical unit cell. He too was taken to\u200b the \u200bhospital\u2064 but was pronounced dead. Smith was facing several unspecified felony and misdemeanor charges.<\/p>\n<p>Montay Stinson, who showed no obvious signs of injury, was also found unresponsive in \u2062his\u2062 cell. Thompson&#8217;s family received a $4 million \u200csettlement from\u200c the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Michael Harper, representing Thompson&#8217;s family, \u200cstated\u2062 that jail records indicated officials and\u200c medical staff were aware of Thompson&#8217;s deteriorating health but failed to\u2062 provide him with \u200dthe necessary aid.
