Phil Murphy (D-NJ) has stated that his state lacks the\u200d capacity and resources to assist its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/south-korea-calls-for-u-s-sanction-flexibility-on-north-korea\/\" title=\"South  Korea calls for u.s. sanction flexibility on North Korea\">northern neighbor<\/a> with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/phil-murphy-claims-new-jersey-cannot-take-in-new-york-immigrants\/\" title=\"Phil Murphy asserts New Jersey unable to accommodate New York immigrants.\">ongoing \u2062immigration crisis<\/a>. This comes as the Biden administration considers using Atlantic City International Airport as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dem-mayor-touts-job-benefits-of-her-city-housing-illegal-immigrants\/\" title=\"Dem Mayor Touts Job Benefits of Her City Housing Illegal Immigrants\">potential site<\/a> to house over 100,000 immigrants who have flooded\u200c into New York City since the spring of 2022.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t see\u200b any scenario where we\u2019re going to be able to take in a program in Atlantic City or frankly elsewhere\u2063 in the state,\u201d Murphy told New Jersey 12. \u201cYou need scale, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/shapiro-debunking-the-15-minimum-wage\/\" title=\"SHAPIRO: Debunking The  Minimum Wage\">enormous amount<\/a> of federal\u200c support,\u200b resources that go \u2062beyond anything\u2064 that we can afford.\u2063 Putting everything else aside, I \u200djust don\u2019t see\u2064 it.\u2062 I would\u200b suspect that that will continue to be the case.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Murphy claims\u2064 that he has not been contacted by the White House or\u2062 federal officials regarding hosting immigrants,\u200b but he has already observed\u2063 immigrants in his state whom he believes came from New York. He also acknowledges \u200bthat they could have come from other cities \u2063experiencing a similar influx, such as Chicago or Washington,\u200b D.C.<\/p>\n<p>Local\u200c officials in Atlantic County, one of the poorest counties in New Jersey despite hosting Atlantic City, also\u2064 oppose the idea of receiving immigrants.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAll I can say is that I will do my best to prevent this\u2064 from happening,\u201d said\u200c longtime Republican Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson. \u201cWe\u2063 can\u2019t afford it. We\u2019re a poor county. We\u2019re one of the poorest counties in New Jersey. It\u2019s not a burden I can put on \u200bour taxpayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile, Massachusetts \u2063is also grappling with a significant influx of \u200cimmigrants, with the\u2064 state housing 20,000 individuals in converted\u2063 hotels.\u200c Both New York and Massachusetts have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-did-the-supreme-court-cancel-universal-vaccination\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Did The Supreme Court \u2018Cancel\u2019 Universal Vaccination?\">state laws requiring<\/a> \u2064them to provide housing for immigrants, but the\u2063 current surge has overwhelmed their housing systems.<\/p>\n<p>Gov.
