It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/long-unseen-portions-of-1941-mosaic-uncovered-by-long-beach-airport-workers\/\" title=\"Long Beach Airport workers uncover hidden parts of 1941 mosaic.\">includes expert-led efforts<\/a> to \u200dlocate and protect the entire mosaic\u2014made up of nine \u2063vignettes comprised of an estimated 1.6 million \u200dhand-cut tiles in about two dozen different colors.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past few weeks, the final few hidden vignettes were found and uncovered, making it the first time in decades that the full mosaic has been visible, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ntsb-faa-investigating-united-airlines-plane-engine-failure\/\" title=\"NTSB, FAA investigating United Airlines plane engine failure\">airport officials<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Clements, born in 1905, was hired through the Work Projects Administration \u200dto create the federally funded floor mosaic and several murals prior\u2062 to the terminal&#8217;s opening in 1941.
