He argues that he\u200d is immune from state prosecution under the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment\u2064 alleges that Meadows unlawfully \u200dsolicited and \u2064influenced the certified returns for presidential electors. He and the other defendants are accused of violating the Georgia \u200dRICO Act from November 4, 2020, to September 15, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Meadows&#8217;s attorney argues \u200cthat even if only one overt act is remotely connected to his client, the case should be\u2062 heard in federal court.
