Monahan \u200ccleared McConnell to\u200d work as usual on Thursday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/mcconnell-medically-cleared-capitol-attending-physician-after-freeze\/story?id=102837213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Monahan consulted with the\u2063 81-year senator as well as\u200c McConnell\u2019s neurology team in making the assessment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter evaluating yesterday\u2019s incident, I have informed Leader McConnell that he is medically clear to continue with his schedule as planned,\u201d the \u200ddoctor said \u200din a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOccasional\u200d lightheadedness\u200c is\u2062 not uncommon in \u200bconcussion recovery and can also be expected as a result of dehydration.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">NEW: Dr. Brian P.\u200b Monahan: \u201cI have consulted with Leader McConnell and conferred with his\u200b neurology team.
