Mayor Karen Bass (D-Calif.) expressed her\u2062 displeasure with the initiative, claiming\u2064 that there has been little communication from Texas \u2063officials.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe hear about the buses \u2064headed \u2062our way when they\u2019re\u2062 on the way.
