Inmates\u200c lose the privilege of speaking to \u200dthe news\u200d media when they enter the \u200dSCDC,\u201d the statement said. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This comes \u2063after the\u200b former attorney was \u2063convicted in March of killing his wife and adult son in 2021. He was sentenced to life in prison\u200c without parole. <\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Murdaugh\u2063 used another inmate\u2019s PIN for a phone call which\u200c also violates \u2064prison rules, the Corrections Department \u2062said. <\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, while losing \u200chis phone he will lose access to his \u2063tablet computer and will\u2063 not be allowed to buy items from the prison canteen \u200cfor an entire month. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe department will determine \u2063when and if inmate Murdaugh will \u2064earn the opportunity to be issued a tablet again,\u201d a spokesperson told the Daily Beast.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the incident report, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/alex-murdaugh-loses-phone-privileges-in-prison-after-media-call\/\" title=\"Alex Murdaugh, denied phone access in jail due to media contact.\">prison warden received<\/a> a report from the Office\u200c of\u2064 the Inspector\u2064 General on August 15<sup>th<\/sup>, claiming \u200cMurdaugh took \u2062part in an\u200d interview with Fox Nation. <\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors during the trial claimed Murdaugh murdered his wife, Margaret,\u2064 and\u200d son Paul on June 7, 2021, \u2063to\u200c gain compassion and distract \u200cfrom financial crimes.  <\/p>\n<p>According to experts, the convicted murderer is expected to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/newsroom\/alex-murdaugh-indicted-on-22-new-charges\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/newsroom\/alex-murdaugh-indicted-on-22-new-charges\/\">plead guilty\u200c <\/a>in federal court next month to separate charges that he stole millions from clients, court\u200b records show. <\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
