So, what is the solution\u2063 to \u2062this \u200cdilemma?<\/p>\n<p>To put it bluntly, \u2064the Biden\u200c administration is now\u200d taking action by speeding up the delivery of $15.5 \u200bbillion, \u2063funded by U.S. taxpayers, to \u200cartificially boost the EV market and appease political allies.<\/p>\n<h3>Accelerating Funding for EVs<\/h3>\n<p>On \u200dThursday, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/us-offers-12-billion-automakers-155346819.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> that the U.S. government will release\u2064 $10 billion in loans and $3.5 billion in grants to the industry. This move aims to support the transition to EVs while ensuring \u200bthat workers and communities are not\u2062 left behind.<\/p>\n<p>However, the \u2062reality is that the U.S.\u200c is\u200d not transitioning to EVs as\u200b smoothly as anticipated. Reports indicate that \u2064EVs are sitting \u200dunsold \u200cin dealers&#8217; lots for extended periods.
