Little did he know, this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/attack-ad-from-left-wing-activists-allowed-to-trend-on-twitter-inciting-violence-against-conservatives-the-liberty-loft\/\" title=\"Attack Ad From Left-Wing Activists Allowed to Trend On Twitter Inciting Violence Against Conservatives\">simple act<\/a> would ignite a heated debate.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;The \u2062reason that they do not want the flag \u2014 we do not want the flag \u200c\u2014 is due to its origins with slavery and the slave trade,&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When\u2063 a \u200bteacher spotted Jaiden&#8217;s \u2064patch, they anonymously reported him and his backpack\u2063 to\u200c the\u2062 administration. The school&#8217;s response was to explain to \u2063Jaiden and his mom that \u2064the patch symbolized slavery. However, Jaiden&#8217;s mom was not about\u2064 to back down without \u2062a fight.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Jaiden&#8217;s Mom Fights Back<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jaiden&#8217;s mom decided\u2062 to\u2063 meet with\u2063 the administrator to\u200d address \u200dthe issue. She came prepared with research and \u2062facts to support her son&#8217;s right to wear\u200b the patch. She pointed out\u200d that the Gadsden flag had nothing to do with slavery and suggested that they might be confusing it with\u2062 the Confederate flag.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;I am \u2064here to enforce the policy that was provided by the district,&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The administrator, sticking to the district&#8217;s policy, refused to budge. However, Jaiden&#8217;s mom had done her homework and discovered that the ACLU supported \u2063wearing, waving, or flying the flag.
