It alleges that Ms.\u2063 Olsen and Mr. \u200dVia \u200dconcealed Sage&#8217;s\u2063 transition and engaged \u200din inappropriate psychotherapy methods to \u2063reinforce her belief that\u2064 she was\u2063 a boy, leading to increased\u2064 trauma and\u200d her decision to run away in August 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Sage, identified as &#8220;S.B.&#8221;\u2062 in the lawsuit, was\u2063 kidnapped, \u200cdrugged, and raped by an adult male who then transported her to Washington. There, she was left with two brothers \u2063who also\u200d drugged and\u2062 raped her before taking her to Maryland, where she was left with a registered sex\u2063 offender and subsequently trafficked to other men, according to the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement found a note from Sage to her parents, expressing fear and warning them about the dangerous situation she\u200c was in.<\/p>\n<h2>&#8216;An Ideological\u200c Agenda&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p>Although law enforcement rescued Sage on\u200d September 2,\u200b 2021, Mrs. Blair was not \u2063allowed to take her home. Ms. Khan, assigned as Sage&#8217;s public defender, alleged neglect at home,\u2062 supported by Ms. Olsen and Mr. Via, who\u200c claimed \u200bthat \u200dMrs.\u200c Blair and her\u2062 husband did not acknowledge Sage as a\u2063 male.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She went with\u2064 her own ideological agenda because\u200b of her belief that I was not adequately supporting Sage,&#8221; Mrs. Blair \u2062said.\u200d &#8220;We got into \u200ba courtroom, and she came up on a big Zoom screen. I called her\u2064 name, saying, \u2063&#8217;I \u2062love you, Sage,&#8217; and \u2063she replied, &#8216;I love you, Nana,&#8217; \u200dand that was it.\u200d The public defender shut it down and\u200b convinced the judge that I was\u2063 abusive because I didn&#8217;t call her by her boy name.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Baltimore Circuit \u200bCourt Judge\u200d Robert Kershaw even had Mrs. Blair&#8217;s husband\u200d removed\u200b from \u200dthe courtroom\u200c for\u2062 not using Sage&#8217;s masculine \u200cpronouns. The judge also refused to acknowledge Sage&#8217;s \u200bneed for trauma care, according to Mrs. Blair.<\/p>\n<p>With \u200dthe assistance of Ms. Olsen and\u2064 Mr. Via, Ms. Khan successfully convinced Judge Kershaw to place Sage in the custody\u200d of the Maryland \u200bDepartment of Juvenile Services (DJS). There, she was housed\u2063 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/in-depth-woman-says-her-daughter-was-sex-trafficked-after-school-hid-gender-transition\/\" title=\"Woman claims daughter was sex trafficked after school concealed gender transition.\">high-risk adolescent males<\/a> who sexually assaulted her, the lawsuit claims.<\/p>\n<p>A month later, in November, Sage fled to Texas to\u2063 meet someone \u200dshe had met \u200donline, believing they \u200dwere 16 years old. However,\u2063 the person turned out to be another sex trafficker.<\/p>\n<p>This time, Texas authorities intervened and returned Sage to \u200cMrs. Blair, where\u200b she remains after being away \u200dfrom home for over \u2064a year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This all could have been \u2063avoided if the \u200cschool \u200chad informed me of what was going\u2064 on instead of\u2062 keeping me in the dark,&#8221; Mrs. Blair said. &#8220;Sage\u2064 would not have \u200ca lifetime complex PTSD diagnosis she \u200dwill struggle with\u200b the rest of her life.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sage had already spent several months in the foster care system \u200cbefore being adopted by the Blairs at the age of 2, following the death of\u200d her father and her mother&#8217;s inability \u200cto care for her.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She had a history of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/two-killed-in-new-zealand-shooting-hours-before-the-womens-world-cup\/\" title=\"Two dead in NZ shooting prior to Women's World Cup.\">mental health\u200c issues<\/a> from early childhood trauma,&#8221; Mrs. Blair explained.<\/p>\n<p>Sage has both\u2062 good and bad days, but\u200c Mrs. Blair remains hopeful for her daughter&#8217;s recovery.<\/p>\n<h2>The Lawsuit<\/h2>\n<p>Mary McAlister, senior litigation counsel with Child &#038; Parental Rights Campaign,\u200d the firm representing Mrs. Blair, \u200cstated \u2062that they\u200b are suing school staff and the public defender for \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bombshell-audio-reveals-how-tony-evers-normalized-gender-bending-insanity-in-wisconsin-schools\/\" title=\"Bombshell Audio Reveals How Tony Evers Normalized Gender-Bending Insanity In Wisconsin Schools\">violating parental rights<\/a> and civil rights.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;By depriving\u2064 Plaintiff\u2062 of critical information \u200cregarding S.B.&#8217;s gender identity \u2064and sexual harassment \u2063and assaults at school,\u200d Defendants \u2062Olsen and Via have infringed Plaintiff&#8217;s fundamental right to direct S.B.&#8217;s\u2063 upbringing,&#8221; the complaint states.<\/p>\n<p>They are\u200d also suing for violation of Title IX due\u2062 to the school staff&#8217;s alleged deliberate indifference to sexual harassment, as Sage&#8217;s reports of assault were reportedly not addressed adequately.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit claims that\u2063 Ms. Olsen, Mr. Via, and Ms. Khan\u2063 violated Mrs. Blair&#8217;s fundamental right to custody of Sage due to\u2062 their perceived disagreement with affirming an incongruent gender identity\u2064 in her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mrs. Blair is informed and believes that while S<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A woman has sued a Virginia school district, claiming it secretly supported her daughter&#8217;s gender identity change, leading to threats, bullying, and exploitation by sexual predators.
