The poll shows the 45<sup>th<\/sup> president beating\u200c Biden by one percent following \u2063a four-point jump from the end of July to \u2063the end of August. \u200bIt was conducted after the public release of the mugshot.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s almost as if [the mugshot\u2019s] a \u200brallying cry,\u201d Ball \u2062said. \u201cThere\u2019s nothing stronger than an image in a political campaign. And the image \u200dof Joe Biden going after Donald Trump \u200con the\u200d federal level, and\u2062 these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/its-a-rallying-cry-new-polls-show-pres-trump-overtake-pres-biden-in-2024-matchup-following-mugshot\/\" title=\"New polls reveal Trump surpassing Biden in 2024 matchup after mugshot.\">weaponized district attorneys<\/a> across the United States\u200b on state levels going after Donald\u2062 Trump is the image that \u2062they\u2019re going\u2062 to take into the voting booth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The mugshot has resulted in a fundraising frenzy for the Trump campaign. The campaign announced it\u2063 has raised more than\u200d $9.4 million since the mugshot\u2062 was released, selling 36,000 t-shirts. Further, the team revealed it has\u2062 raised more than $20 million in the month of August. Ball says the events in Fulton\u2063 County, \u2062Georgia will only draw\u200c more \u200dpossible voters to Trump\u2019s side.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI really believe that some people who \u2062don\u2019t even\u200b normally tune into politics, like some \u2063of the urban areas of Atlanta, \u2064you saw they reacted to [Trump] when he was \u200ddriving through their towns and their\u2063 cities \u2063on\u200c his way \u2062to get indicted and \u2063all the way back\u200d from it,\u201d Ball said. \u201cThey\u2019re starting to look \u200dat this and \u2062get involved in\u2062 politics a little \u2064bit and have opinions about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trump emphasized this in a newly released video, saying Biden\u2019s entire campaign hinged on the indictments.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cJoe Biden\u2019s only campaign\u2062 strategy is indicting me,\u201d Trump said. \u201cThat\u2019s all they can do. Keep indicting me on nonsense, going on extended\u2063 vacations, and sleep, sleep, sleep. That\u2019s what he wants to do. He\u2062 wants\u200b to sleep, \u2064and he wants to go to the beach and sleep. He thinks he looks \u2062good in a bathing suit. He doesn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The indictments appear\u2063 to be backfiring, as\u2064 Trump also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/newsroom\/polls-show-trumps-support-swell-following-fourth-indictment-mug-shot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">leads Biden\u2063 by 2%<\/a> in the new Emerson College\u200c poll. Ball asserted that independent voters\u200c are backing \u2063the\u2062 45<sup>th<\/sup> \u200dpresident.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIndependents are going to have to look\u200d at the two \u2064options, presumably Donald Trump and Joe Biden and say, \u2018Who do\u2062 I want to command for \u200bthe next four years,\u201d\u200b Ball \u200dexplained. \u200b\u201cJoe Biden can\u2019t\u2064 command a sentence. How is he going\u2064 to command four more years of this administration?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trump has seen his support swell in the \u2062Republican primary. Morning Consult shows Trump leading \u2064Florida Governor Ron DeSantis by 44%. An internal poll commissioned by the Trump Team also\u200b revealed that 54% of likely Republican voters viewed Trump as \u201cvery favorable.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe only chance that \u200bany of the other candidates have\u2064 at \u200bgetting the \u200cRepublican presidential nomination is if Donald Trump drops \u2064out or goes away,\u201d Ball said. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t foresee that happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to RealClearPolitics polling average, Trump was leading the GOP primary by slightly less than 15% in 2015.\u2062 In \u200d2023, he\u2019s leading the pack by more than \u200d40%.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
