The lawsuit was related to a makeshift wall made of shipping containers at the Arizona-Mexico border.<\/p>\n<p>The bill of $2.1 million was presented to the state by the U.S. Forest Service on Aug. 22, according \u2063to Judy Kioski, a spokeswoman \u200dfor\u200d Arizona&#8217;s Division of Emergency Management. Ducey ordered the construction of the makeshift wall to address the crisis of illegal immigration. The wall consisted of over 120 shipping containers, covering more than 3,820 feet of gaps in the border wall in Yuma County. In response, Gov. Ducey sued the federal government, asserting the state&#8217;s right to defend itself.<\/p>\n<h2>Barrier Dismantled<\/h2>\n<p>By Dec. 21, 2022, Gov. Ducey&#8217;s administration \u200cagreed to dismantle the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-cuban-migrants-breach-new-texas-border-barrier\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE: Cuban Migrants Breach New Texas Border Barrier\">shipping container border barrier<\/a>. This decision was made as part\u200c of an \u2063agreement with the Biden administration, which committed to building a permanent border barrier near Yuma.<\/p>\n<p>All the shipping containers have been removed from \u2063federal land, \u2062and efforts have been made to \u2062address the environmental damage \u2062caused by the project.<\/p>\n<h2>Shipping Containers for\u2064 Sale<\/h2>\n<p>The construction and dismantling of the makeshift \u2062wall cost the state approximately $95 million.
