The building, Columbia MLK Tower, has received over $15\u2064 million in\u200d federal and state funding to shelter the \u2063&#8221;chronically homeless,&#8221; but \u200chas nonetheless taken four residents to court this year for falling behind on rent by less \u200cthan two \u200cmonths. Law enforcement officials forcibly ejected another\u200c resident from the \u200dpest-infected building in July.<\/p>\n<p>Warnock \u200bdenied during the 2022 campaign that the church \u2064was\u2062 evicting residents, <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/warnock-denies-his-church-evicts-tenants-three-eviction-notices-were-filed-last-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">telling<\/a> Georgia voters that the <strong>Free Beacon<\/strong> reports <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/vicious-and-venomous-raphael-warnock-says-his-critics-are-attacking-jesus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">were<\/a> &#8220;vicious and venomous&#8221; attempts to &#8220;sully\u2063 Ebenezer Baptist\u2064 Church&#8221; and the &#8220;church of Jesus Christ.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ebenezer pays Warnock a six-figure salary for \u2063his part-time pastoral services \u200dat levels that exceed the outside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/school-choice-takes-state-houses-by-storm-in-2023-legislative-sessions\/\" title=\"School choice dominates state legislatures in 2023.\">income allowance<\/a> for senators. Warnock has leveraged several accounting loopholes to rake in sums\u2062 far beyond that $30,000 limit. The\u2062 church paid the senator $120,000\u2062 in \u200b2021, for example, \u200c$89,000 of \u200cwhich was a tax-free &#8220;parsonage \u200callowance&#8221; that \u2062he used to pay \u2062for his $1 million Atlanta home. And \u200dthough Warnock made $155,000 from his church in 2022, the senator\u2063 claimed \u200b$125,000 of that salary as &#8220;deferred compensation&#8221; for services he rendered before \u2064he was sworn into office in January 2021, the <strong>Washington \u2063Free Beacon<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/senator-warnock-outside-income\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the disadvantaged residents facing eviction from Ebenezer&#8217;s apartment building is Vietnam veteran Phillip \u200cWhite. The building&#8217;s property manager, Columbia Residential, moved in March to\u200d evict White for $192 in unpaid rent after he fell about five weeks behind on his payments.<\/p>\n<p>Columbia Residential\u2064 voluntarily\u200b dismissed that lawsuit after White accused the \u2062building \u2064of failing to repair several\u200b appliances in \u2062his \u200cunit. But White was taken to court again \u200din June for falling behind on his rent payments by less than two months. The Fulton County Magistrate Court on \u200cAug. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/warnocks-church-resumes-evictions-from-low-income-apartment-building-as-it-enriches-the-senator\/\" title=\"Warnock's church evicts low-income tenants while benefiting the senator.\">7\u2063 granted law\u200c enforcement officials<\/a> a writ\u2063 of \u2062possession to remove White from \u200bthe property.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the\u200d first time Ebenezer&#8217;s apartment building has \u2064sought to evict \u200dWhite. It filed a \u2062dispossessory\u2063 notice\u200b against White in September\u2064 2022\u200c for $192 in unpaid rent, only to drop the case in November after the <strong>Free Beacon<\/strong> reported the building&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/warnocks-church-tapped-one-of-the-nations-leading-eviction-filers-to-manage-low-income-apartment\/\" title=\"Warnock\u2019s Church Tapped One of the Nation\u2019s Leading Eviction Filers To Manage Low-Income Apartment\">aggressive eviction practices<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>White\u200c Warnock&#8217;s denials are a slap in the\u2064 face.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He said there\u2063 would be no\u200d evictions,&#8221; White told the <strong>Free Beacon<\/strong> in November. &#8220;He knew\u200d that was a lie. What he was really saying is there would be\u200b no evictions until after the election.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Warnock, Ebenezer \u2064Baptist Church,\u200d and \u200bColumbia Residential\u200c did\u2062 not return\u2062 requests for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With Sen.
