Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) expressed his concerns on \u200dAug. 30 regarding the potential impact of\u2062 former President \u200cDonald Trump&#8217;s four trials on his campaign schedule, should he secure the\u2062 Republican nomination.<\/p>\n<p>Khanna&#8217;s \u200cremarks mark the first time a Democrat has raised this \u200cissue. I believe that you have to follow the\u200b law, \u2062and some of the \u200dconduct alleged is \u200cvery, very, very serious. And you can\u2019t \u200cjust say okay, because someone was president or someone is a candidate,\u200b that you\u2019re\u200c above\u200b the law,&#8221; Khanna, a progressive, told Hewitt, a \u2063conservative.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Everyone is under \u2063the law,\u200d and these allegations, the evidence needs to be pursued. But what we\u2019re discussing is the timing. And I do think we need to make sure that, in the\u2062 timing, if Trump does emerge \u2064as the Republican nominee, that it does\u2063 not \u2062compromise\u200b the \u2064ability\u2064 to \u200dhave a robust campaign \u200bschedule,&#8221; \u2064he continued.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And I imagine\u200b that the courts will take \u200bthat into consideration if he\u2062 is the \u2064nominee. You know, he may not \u200dbe the nominee. I mean, that\u2019s \u200cstill a &#8230; that\u200c has to be determined.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after Judge Chutkan set the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sen-amy-klobuchar-introduces-big-tech-antitrust-bill-proposal\/\" title=\"Sen.
