Ashford University was\u2062 later\u2063 acquired by the University \u2064of Arizona. The decision to grant loan relief \u200dwas made due to educational misrepresentations made to students\u2064 between 2009\u2062 and 2020.<\/p>\n<h3>Supreme Court Decision and\u2063 Biden&#8217;s\u2062 Promise<\/h3>\n<p>This announcement \u200ccomes in \u2062the wake of the Supreme Court striking down the Biden administration&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/different-student-loans-plan-same-problems-for-biden\/\" title=\"Biden faces similar issues with various student loan plans.\">student loan forgiveness \u2064plan<\/a>. However, President Joe Biden remains committed to finding alternative ways to provide \u200brelief to student loan borrowers.<\/p>\n<p>James Kvaal,\u200c the United \u2062States Undersecretary of Education, highlighted \u200ba California court&#8217;s\u2064 ruling from last year that supported\u2064 students&#8217; claims of being misled about school programs and employment\u2063 prospects.
