The airline \u2064is accused of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/woke-mania-book-festival-cancels-j-k-rowling-event\/\" title=\"Woke Mania: Book Festival Cancels J.K. The airline continued to sell tickets for an average \u200bof \u200c16 days \u200dafter cancelling the flights, often \u2062due\u200d to reasons within its control,\u200d such as &#8220;network optimisation.&#8221; \u200bThe\u2063 ACCC \u2064also highlighted that Qantas sold tickets to a Sydney-to-San Francisco flight that had been cancelled 40 \u200bdays prior.<\/p>\n<p>If found guilty, Qantas could face a maximum penalty of \u206210% of\u200c its annual turnover, which amounted\u2064 to A$19.8 billion in the year to June.
