Despite multiple attempts to adjust the \u2063ad to meet X&#8217;s terms, it was rejected\u200d each time by the website&#8217;s bot.\u200c On\u2063 August \u200d25,\u200b an \u2062X representative\u200b informed The Freedom Forum that they only allow &#8220;cause-based \u200bor news-based&#8221; political ads\u200d and that \u2063the organization was not\u200c permitted to submit additional \u200bads.<\/p>\n<p>This decision left \u200bNeil perplexed, as Elon Musk has presented himself as a\u200d vocal advocate for the First Amendment and has described himself as a\u2064 &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/elon-musk-announces-starlink-terminals-sent-to-ukraine-wont-take-certain-actions-unless-forced-at-gunpoint\/\" title=\"Elon Musk Announces Starlink Terminals Sent To Ukraine Won\u2019t Take Certain Actions Unless Forced \u2018At Gunpoint\u2019\">free speech absolutist<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Freedom\u2062 Forum is a non-partisan organization renowned\u2062 for funding the Newseum, \u200ca museum in Washington, D.C. that promotes journalism \u200cand\u200d freedom of the press.<\/p>\n<p>X announced on Wednesday that \u2064it would expand its efforts to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/court-urged-to-penalize-facebook-parent-company-over-24-million\/\" title=\"Court Urged to Penalize Facebook Parent Company Over  Million\">host political advertising<\/a>\u200d and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/x-blocks-first-amendment-focused-nonprofit-from-promoting-non-political-festival\/\" title=\"X prohibits First Amendment-focused nonprofit from promoting non-political festival.\">combat election \u2064misinformation<\/a>.
