He&#8217;ll face three years of unsupervised probation\u2062 and must enroll in \u2063an \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/country-singer-sam-hunts-pregnant-wife-files-for-divorce-claims-infidelity\/\" title=\"Country Singer Sam Hunt\u2019s Pregnant Wife Files For Divorce, Claims Infidelity\">alcohol education<\/a> course. He was also ordered to pay \u2063$2,050 in fines, <em>Politico<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/california-playbook\/2023\/08\/30\/not-in-this-backyard-00113435\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Min is\u200b running to fill the seat of Rep.\u2062 Katie Porter (D.), who is running for U.S. \u2064Senate.<\/p>\n<p>Min was <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/dave-min-dui-video\/\">arrested<\/a> on May 2 after barreling \u200bthrough a red light with no headlights on. His <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/california-state-2024-race-shapes-up-as-candidates-vie-to-replace-katie-porter\/\" title=\"California's 2024 race intensifies as contenders compete for Katie Porter's seat.\">blood alcohol\u200c level<\/a> was nearly twice the legal limit.<\/p>\n<p>Police records and footage of his arrest <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/dave-min-dui-video\/\">reported<\/a> by the <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> at the time showed Min lied about how many drinks he had consumed.<\/p>\n<p>Two breathalyzer tests \u2063taken at the scene registered Min&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/prosecutors-henry-ruggs-was-driving-156-mph-at-time-of-fatal-crash\/\" title=\"Prosecutors: Henry Ruggs was driving 156 MPH at time of fatal crash\">blood alcohol level<\/a> at\u200c .15 percent, despite him saying he\u200c had only consumed two beers.
