This group has an ambitious target of limiting clothing consumption and banning \u200cmeat, dairy,\u2064 and private vehicle ownership by 2030.<\/p>\n<h3>False Labeling and Deceptive Fact-Checking<\/h3>\n<p>On Tuesday,\u2062 Instagram slapped a &#8220;false&#8221; label on \u200ca <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/CwQcZ9PRUqj\/?igshid=MTc4MmM1YmI2Ng%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reel<\/a> exposing the 14 American cities \u2063that are part\u2064 of\u200d C40 and its\u200b disturbing \u2062goals. article attached to my \u200bInstagram post, Politifact links to a Valuetainment.com <a href=\"https:\/\/valuetainment.com\/americas-c40-cities-will-ban-meat-dairy-new-clothes-private-cars-by-2030\/\">article<\/a> and an Instagram \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CwdBqArL7lo\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&#038;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\">post<\/a> \u2064that both\u200c read, &#8220;Fourteen major \u2063American\u200c cities signed onto a globalist \u200dclimate agreement&#8230; that includes eliminating\u200b meat and dairy consumption, private vehicle ownership, air travel, and clothing purchases.&#8221; Politifact accuses Valuetainment.com and the Instagram user of &#8220;distort[ing]&#8221; the C40 report because\u2064 C40\u2062 &#8220;does\u2062 not say \u200bU.S. cities have signed onto these bans.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Politifact purposely did not\u2062 engage with my Instagram post or my article it was based\u2064 on because I did \u200c <em>not<\/em> \u200csay the\u200d C40 cities &#8220;signed onto&#8221; any bans. Instead, I <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/19\/these-14-american-cities-have-a-target-of-banning-meat-dairy-and-private-vehicles-by-2030\/\">quoted<\/a> C40 explicitly, stating that C40&#8217;s\u2062 dystopian aims \u2063are &#8220;ambitious targets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another reason Politifact\u200c avoided directly addressing my reporting is that I anticipated a fact-check \u200band included in\u200c my article a rebuttal to previous fact-checks that made nearly identical claims.<\/p>\n<h3>The\u2064 Truth \u200cBehind Climate Goals<\/h3>\n<p>Quoting C40 representative Grace \u2063Chege, Politifact wrote, &#8220;The \u2062report is an\u200b analysis of consumption-based emissions in C40 cities, \u200bnot\u2064 a plan for cities to adopt, let alone\u200d a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/world-health-organization-debates-global-pandemic-treaty\/\" title=\"World Health Organization Debates Global \u2018Pandemic Treaty\u2019\">legally binding treaty<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Preemptively \u200dresponding to a very \u200dsimilar <a href=\"https:\/\/factcheck.afp.com\/doc.afp.com.33NJ8FK\">AFP Fact Check<\/a> article from July, \u200cI wrote that the fact checkers&#8217;\u200b false characterization of C40&#8217;s goals \u200ddirectly contradicts the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wordnik.com\/words\/target\">meaning<\/a> of an ambition &#8220;target,&#8221; which in this context can be defined as a &#8220;desired goal.&#8221; The report states that eliminating meat, dairy, and private vehicles by 2030 \u200cis &#8220;based on\u2062 a future vision\u200b of \u200cresource-efficient production and \u2062extensive changes in consumer choices,&#8221; \u2064meaning it is something the authors clearly hope to bring \u200dabout. In other words,\u200c it is \u200dtheir goal.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If these were not their goals, they would not have\u2064 labeled \u2063them &#8216;ambitious targets,'&#8221; I wrote in its original article.<\/p>\n<p>I \u200dalso noted that the\u200c fact-checkers&#8217; insistence that C40 Cities&#8217; explicit climate \u200dgoals are \u200bsomehow insincere is even more unbelievable, given they are coming to fruition right \u2064now. In lockstep with C40 Cities&#8217; \u200b2030 aims, New York City Mayor Eric Adams \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/04\/17\/nyregion\/eric-adams-meat-emissions-nyc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced<\/a> this year that the city \u2064will\u2064 cut\u2063 back the amount of meat\u2063 and dairy served by city institutions, such as schools and prisons. At the same\u200b time, the U.K. has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoexpress.co.uk\/news\/108960\/uk-2030-petrol-and-diesel-ban-what-it-and-which-cars-are-affected\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">banned<\/a> the sale of new \u2062gas-powered vehicles after 2030, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.climatedepot.com\/2023\/06\/01\/climate-lockdowns-begin-france-bans-short-haul-flights-in-favor-of-train-travel-to-cut-carbon-emissions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">France<\/a> has \u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/these-14-american-cities-have-a-target-of-banning-meat-dairy-and-private-vehicles-by-2030\/\" title=\"14 US cities aim to ban meat, dairy, and private vehicles by 2030.\">banned short-haul flights<\/a> &#8220;to\u2062 cut carbon emissions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>The Technicality\u200d of Fact-Checking<\/h3>\n<p>Politifact&#8217;s fact-check \u200cof Valuetainment.com and the\u200d other \u200cInstagram user is equally unfair because it\u200c is based on\u2063 a \u2063technicality. \u200bC40&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/expose-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Arup-C40-The-Future-of-Urban-Consumption-in-a-1-5C-World.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> doesn&#8217;t need to be signed by \u2064the C40 cities because C40 <em>is<\/em> <em>essentially<\/em> the\u200d C40 cities \u2014 the cities&#8217; \u2062climate-obsessed mayors\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c40.org\/about-c40\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">make up<\/a> the C40\u2064 network.<\/p>\n<h3>The Monopoly on Truth<\/h3>\n<p>The Politifact fact-checkers wanted \u200bto censor my Instagram post without actually addressing\u200d the Instagram post, which is based \u200bon my\u2064 precise reporting that <em>already<\/em> addressed the claims of the fact-check.<\/p>\n<p>Another reason Politifact likely did\u200c not want\u2062 to\u200b directly\u200d confront my reporting\u2062 is that I pointed out that the climate \u200cmafia&#8217;s goals have nothing to do with the climate and everything \u200bto do with\u200c social control. In \u2062the \u2062original\u200c article, I discussed how climate\u200b activists\u2064 at C40 and the World \u200cEconomic Forum (WEF) are\u2064 constantly devising plans\u200c to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/instagram-slaps-false-label-on-the-federalists-accurate-reporting-about-meat-banning-goals\/\" title=\"Instagram labels The Federalist's accurate reporting on meat-banning goals as 'false'.\">radically limit air travel<\/a>\u200b for\u2062 us common folk, while they\u200b galavant across \u200bthe globe and to climate \u2064summits in private jets.<\/p>\n<p>I also \u2064mentioned how\u2062 the WEF\u200b said\u2062 that \u200cby 2030, &#8220;You&#8217;ll own\u200c nothing, and \u200cyou&#8217;ll be happy.&#8221; Meanwhile, hedge \u2064funds and private\u200b billionaires are buying up residential <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/06\/11\/what-happens-when-hedge-funds-buy-up-neighborhoods\/\">homes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.popularmechanics.com\/science\/environment\/a42543527\/why-is-bill-gates-buying-so-much-farmland\/\">farmland<\/a> all over the world, and \u200cunrealistic \u2062zero-emissions policies are impoverishing\u200b Westerners and annihilating the middle class, which is\u200c fueling reliance\u200d on centralized government.<\/p>\n<p>Globalist bureaucrats,\u2063 politicians, and corporations do not want the masses \u2062to know about the \u2064Orwellian \u200bmotives behind the climate agenda, so they enlist their friends in Big Tech to\u200b slap fact-checks \u200bon people\u200b telling the truth, using word games, technicalities, and flat-out lies.<\/p>\n<p>No one agreed to make Politifact, Instagram, or Google (which funds both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c40.org\/funders-partners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">C40<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politifact.com\/who-pays-for-politifact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Politifact<\/a>) the arbiters of truth.\u2063 Politifact can\u200b fact-check me, just like\u200b I can fact-check Politifact. The difference\u200d is that Politifact&#8217;s &#8220;fact-checks&#8221; are used by tech giants to censor opposition\u2062 media. Essentially, Meta\u200b and Politifact have a \u200cmonopoly on the\u2064 so-called truth in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/limited-government-isnt-everything\/\" title=\"Limited Government Isn\u2019t Everything.\">digital public square<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing \u200dI\u2063 said in \u200dmy article or my video was false, but Instagram used\u200b Politifact to label my \u200dpost as &#8220;false&#8221; anyway. This is defamation,\u2063 and The \u200bFederalist and I\u200b should \u200bbe allowed to sue Meta for portraying us as liars.<\/p>\n<p>We are \u200cnot \u200ballowed to sue Meta,\u200b however, because the company \u200dis afforded \u2064immunity under Section 230, which claims social media companies are platforms even though they are clearly publishers.
