min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>While inflation already exceeds its 2% target, the BOJ has pledged to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/boj-policymaker-signals-chance-of-policy-tweak-early-next-year\/\" title=\"BOJ policymaker hints at policy adjustment in early 2022.\">maintain\u200d ultra-low interest rates<\/a>\u2063 until there is more evidence that \u2063level can be met in a sustained fashion.<\/p>\n<p>Tamura said a sustained, stable achievement of \u2064the bank\u2019s\u200d 2% \u2064inflation target was now \u201cclearly in sight,\u201d as companies shed their aversion to price and \u2062wage hikes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s appropriate\u2062 at this stage to sustain monetary easing, and earnestly scrutinise wage and \u200dprice developments,\u201d Tamura said a speech to business leaders in Kushiro, northern Japan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I\u2019m hoping that around January through March next year,\u2064 we will have\u200b further clarity\u201d on whether Japan can sustainably meet the bank\u2019s inflation target through wage and price\u2064 data available by then, he said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>  (Reporting by Leika Kihara;
