However,\u200c the details of the meeting between Smith&#8217;s aide, the White \u200cHouse counsel&#8217;s office, and the FBI \u2064remain\u200b undisclosed in the\u2063 visitor \u2064logs.\u2063 Trump\u2064 has pleaded not guilty to 40 counts related\u200b to his handling of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/book-claims-lindsey-graham-called-trump-a-liar-during-ukraine-impeachment\/\" title=\"Book Claims Lindsey Graham Called Trump a Liar During Ukraine Impeachment\">classified documents seized<\/a> during \u200ban FBI raid of\u2063 his Mar-a-Lago estate\u200c in Palm Beach, Florida, on August 8, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According\u2064 to White House visitor logs,\u200c Smith&#8217;s top aide, Jay Bratt, met with Caroline Seba, deputy chief of staff for the White \u2063House counsel&#8217;s\u200d office, \u200con March 31. Danielle Ray, an FBI agent, also joined the meeting. The purpose of\u2062 the meeting was described as \u200ca &#8220;case-related interview&#8221;\u200c by a spokesman for the special counsel, while\u200b the FBI declined to comment.<\/p>\n<p>In addition \u2062to this meeting, Bratt reportedly had two other meetings with Biden\u200b officials\u2063 related \u2062to\u200c &#8220;national security&#8221; in September 2021 and two months later. Jordan&#8217;s letter requests\u2062 the \u2062disclosure of all relevant documents regarding\u200b Bratt&#8217;s meetings and any\u2062 communication between the Executive Office of the \u200dPresident \u200dand the Department of Justice\u2064 regarding the investigation and \u200bprosecution \u200bof Special Counsel \u2064Jack Smith.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to \u2062the FBI\u200b raid on Trump&#8217;s Florida compound, Bratt allegedly visited and interacted with the \u200cformer president. During a meeting, \u2064Bratt expressed his lack of trust in Trump\u2062 and his lawyers, which led to him pushing\u200c for a warrant for the raid. The letter also \u200baccuses Bratt of \u200dimproperly pressuring\u200d a lawyer representing a\u2062 Trump \u200cemployee to cooperate with the \u200cprosecution\u2062 by suggesting that it would benefit the lawyer&#8217;s application for a D.C. \u200djudgeship.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan&#8217;s letter \u200craises\u200b concerns about the impartiality of Smith&#8217;s \u200cinvestigation and prosecution, citing these incidents as \u200cevidence.
