She isn&#8217;t just crooked but painfully stupid. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/IyiZ0tHrwD\">pic.twitter.com\/IyiZ0tHrwD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2064 Julie Kelly \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 (@julie_kelly2) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/julie_kelly2\/status\/1696350705357824172?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 29, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type=\"text\/plain\" data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" async data-cmplz-src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Through legal challenges and allegations of\u2062 election fraud that Special Counsel Jack Smith has\u200b connected to the protest \u2064on January 6<sup>th<\/sup>, \u200dTrump is \u200bbeing accused in \u200bWashington, \u2064D.C., of illegally plotting to \u200doverturn the results\u2062 of the 2020 presidential\u2064 election.<\/p>\n<p>According to \u200creports, Judge Chutkan, who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, made her comments while choosing March 4<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024, as the\u2063 trial date.<\/p>\n<p>The date falls one day before \u2062Super Tuesday, the crucial day of the 2024 presidential election, in which Trump is \u2064the front-runner for\u200b the Republican Party.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Chutkan remarked, according to the session transcript, that: \u2062\u201cIn rejecting the request\u2064 of \u200dTrump\u2019s attorneys for\u200d a later trial date that would push the case past \u2062the 2024\u200b election and allow them more time to review millions of documents of \u200bpossible\u200d evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe trial will start\u200d three years, one month, \u2062and 27 \u2063days after the events of January 6, 2021. The trial involving \u2063the Boston Marathon bombing began less than two years after the events. The trial involving Zacarias Moussaoui for his role in the\u200d September 11 attacks \u2063was set to \u2062begin one year after the attacks, but due to continuances, appeals, and \u200bvoluminous\u2062 discovery, it began\u200d roughly four years later,\u201d Chutkan said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Chutkan has come under fire for having\u2062 a \u201cDemocrat-driven political agenda.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>She\u200c was first selected by former President Barack Obama and she also <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/donor-lookup\/results?name=tanya+chutkan\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/donor-lookup\/results?name=tanya+chutkan\" target=\"_blank\">contributed to his presidential \u200dcampaign<\/a>.
