corroboration will\u2063 deter the propaganda press from protecting their <a investigating Ukrainian energy\u2062 company Burisma, \u200badmitted that \u2063he believes then-Vice President Joe Biden and his \u2063son, who was\u2063 paid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/hunter-biden-paid-80g-per-month-while-on-board-of-ukranian-gas-company-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tens\u2063 of\u2062 thousands<\/a> of \u200cdollars every month to sit on the company\u2019s\u2062 board, were bribed in\u200c exchange for \u2063his firing.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1593126801\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" facts, \u200dbut my personal conviction is that yes, this was the case,\u201d Shokin said, through a translator. \u201cThey\u2062 were being bribed.\u2063 The fact that Joe Biden\u2064 gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in\u200d exchange for my dismissal, my firing, isn\u2019t that alone a case of \u2062corruption?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/span> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Shokin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/burismas-devon-archer-met-secretary-state-kerry-weeks-before-shokin-fired\">maintains<\/a> that if his team was allowed to \u2063finish out the Burisma probe, \u201cwe would have found the facts about the corrupt\u200c activities that they\u200c were engaging \u2063in, that included both Hunter Biden and Devon Archer and others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe founder and CEO of Burisma\u2063 started bringing in people who could \u2062provide protection for him. \u200dHunter Biden was among them and the corruption network \u200bexpanded \u2064as \u200da result,\u201d Shokin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/former-top-ukraine-prosecutor-comes-out-swinging-against-joe-hunter-biden-exclusive-interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explained<\/a>. \u200b\u201cSo yes, to \u2062answer your question, there was no doubt \u2064in my mind\u2063 that Burisma\u200b was engaged in illegal interview by mentioning that several attempts on his life have already \u200dbeen made. <\/p>\n<p>A <a interview exposes media's reluctance to report Biden corruption.\">cursory\u200d internet search shows corporate media largely<\/a>\u2062 ignored \u200bShokin\u2019s further confirmation of the Bidens\u2019 \u200dBurisma corruption.\u2064 The handful of outlets that did mention the interview focused more on\u200c discrediting Shokin than heeding his testimony. \u200c <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fired Ukrainian prosecutor is \u200cnot a\u200b reliable narrator,\u201d The \u2062Washington Post\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2023\/08\/28\/viktor-shokin-fox-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">alleged<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who suggests otherwise, the author notes, is siding with Republicans who \u201chave spent \u2063years \u200bsuggesting that Biden\u2019s motives were actually the\u200d opposite \u2014 that this was\u200b an effort to insulate Burisma, the Ukrainian \u200cenergy firm that his\u200b son Hunter \u200cBiden worked \u2064for, from an investigation by Shokin.\u201d<\/p>\n<div \u2064the elder Biden fired Shokin to protect Burisma \u201cremains meager.\u201d That is a lie.  <\/p>\n<p>Contrary to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/21\/10-media-hack-factories-that-pooh-poohed-the-biden-burisma-scandal-as-a-conspiracy-theory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">years of denials and lies<\/a> from the \u200dpropaganda press, there\u200d is\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/01\/evidence-of-biden-burisma-corruption-is-overwhelming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201coverwhelming\u200d evidence\u201d<\/a> \u200c\u2014 even without Shokin\u2019s corroboration \u200d\u2014 that Biden leveraged his authority in the \u200cObama administration to orchestrate Shokin\u2019s removal to\u2063 benefit the company his son was being paid by.<\/p>\n<p>Biden \u2062business \u2063associate Devon Archer told\u200b Congress earlier this month that\u2063 Burisma heads expressed their desire \u200dfor Shokin\u2063 to be fired. <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grassley.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/fd_1023_obtained_by_senator_grassley_-_biden.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FD-1023<\/a> form \u200dthat \u2064the FBI\u2062 desperately tried to conceal from Republican \u2064investigators also contained testimony suggesting the Burisma chief coordinated with the Bidens to kill Shokin\u2019s \u200dinvestigation. \u200bThe <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/16\/everything-we-know-about-the-biden-bribery-scheme-from-the-fbi-document\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201chighly credible\u201d<\/a> confidential human source who gathered the information for the form reported that Burisma chief Mykola Zlochevsky claimed to have <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/20\/heres-everything-in-the-damning-fd-1023-document-that-implicates-biden-in-an-international-bribery-scheme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">17 recordings<\/a>, including two of Joe Biden, that prove he \u201cwas somehow coerced into paying \u2064the Bidens\u2062 to ensure Ukraine\u2064 Prosecutor General\u200c Viktor Shokin was\u2062 fired.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Biden himself even bragged in 2018 about \u200cthreatening \u2064to withhold a billion dollars in U.S. \u200cloans from Petro Poroshenko, the then-president \u2062of \u200bUkraine,\u2062 unless Shokin was canned.
