Scalise underwent \u200bmultiple surgeries\u2064 to repair internal organs and \u2064broken bones following the assault.<\/p>\n<h3>Positive News from the Political Arena<\/h3>\n<p>Scalise&#8217;s \u2062announcement comes after Rep. Jamie Raskin, \u2063a Democrat from Maryland, revealed in December that he had\u2062 been diagnosed with a form of lymphoma.
