LeBeau, and Major Tobin J. Lewis.\u2062 They were\u200b among the 23 Marines on board the MV-22B Osprey when the accident occurred on \u200dMelville Island.<\/p>\n<p>Collart, a skilled\u200b Osprey\u2063 crew chief from \u200cArlington, Virginia, LeBeau, a talented Osprey pilot from Belleville, Illinois, and Lewis, the\u200c executive officer of Marine Medium \u200cTiltrotor Squadron 363 (VMM-363) from Jefferson,\u2062 Colorado, will be deeply missed by their\u2063 comrades and loved ones.<\/p>\n<h3>Tragic Consequences and Ongoing Recovery<\/h3>\n<p>The crash resulted in several critical injuries and the loss of three lives. The\u2062 remaining 20 Marines were transported to\u200c Royal Darwin Hospital for\u200d medical\u200b treatment. Fortunately, 17 of them were treated for minor injuries and \u200breleased. The loss of these three Marines \u200bhas deeply saddened the entire MRF-D family.<\/p>\n<p>Col Brendan Sullivan, the commanding officer of the group&#8217;s\u200d unit, expressed his condolences, stating, &#8220;We are deeply saddened by the \u2062loss of three respected and \u200bbeloved members of the MRF-D family.
