Other \u200dareas under excessive heat warning include Woodland Hills and the San Fernando Valley.<\/p>\n<p>Meteorologists say such temperatures are on par with average Southern California temps for this time \u200bof year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[The heat advisory and excessive heat warning] \u2064does happen pretty much every summer at this point as far as Southern California goes. It\u2019s\u2062 normal for this time of \u2064year,\u201d Mr.\u200c Maxwell told The Epoch Times.<\/p>\n<p>To cope with elevated temperatures, residents are urged to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>limit unnecessary sun exposure<\/li>\n<li>wear breathable, light-colored \u2064clothing to deflect heat and sunscreen<\/li>\n<li>drink water during outdoor activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The most\u200d important thing Mr. Maxwell said, \u200cis that residents often forget to not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/desantis-stands-tough-against-mask-mandates-for-kids-psaki-attacks-him\/\" title=\"DeSantis Stands Tough Against Mask Mandates For Kids.
