This\u2063 unexpected issue is likely to bring almost\u2062 all of \u2064its\u2063 domestic output to a halt.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The company is\u200c currently investigating the cause of the problem, and a spokesperson stated that it\u2063 is &#8220;likely not\u2062 due to \u200da cyberattack.&#8221; However, this malfunction has prevented Toyota from ordering necessary components for production.<\/p>\n<p>While the exact extent of the lost output is unclear, operations\u2062 have been suspended at all\u200b of Toyota&#8217;s domestic assembly plants, with the exception of \u200btwo plants: the Miyata plant in Fukuoka and a Kyoto plant run by Toyota \u2063unit Daihatsu. These 14\u2063 plants in Japan account for approximately one-third of Toyota&#8217;s global production,\u200b making it a significant setback\u200c for the world&#8217;s largest automaker.<\/p>\n<p>The suspension of operations began on Tuesday \u2063morning, \u200cand it remains uncertain whether they\u200c can be resumed for the afternoon shift, according to the spokesperson.
