After Lappe leaped onto home plate he \u200bwas swarmed \u2063by his teammates and could barely \u2064contain his excitement. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThis is a unique feeling that maybe only five or less \u2063people experience in their lifetime,\u201d said Louis, who finished the tournament\u2063 with\u200c five homers, the most\u2062 of\u200c any player. \u201cI feel great. It\u2019s hard to beat this feeling. I don\u2019t know what would make \u2062me feel happier.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The game winner by Lappe came after Curacao tied the game in \u200cthe fifth inning. Curacao\u2019s \u200dleft-fielder, Nasir El-Ossais, had hit \u200da grand slam to center\u200c field, causing a frenzy from supporters of \u2062the team. <\/p>\n<p>California\u2019s\u200c Jaxon Kalish and\u2064 Lucas \u200bKeldorf also drove in two runs each for the \u2063West\u200d Coast team in the game.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe five \u2064guys that I have in the top of the lineup, they\u2019re as good as anyone in this tournament,\u201d\u200b El \u2064Segundo manager Danny Boehle said. \u201cI stand by that full \u200bheartedly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Both California and Curacao had\u200c lost early in the tournament, causing them to fight their way through the elimination bracket. Each side had to turn to less \u2064experienced players on their teams due to\u200b the pitch count \u200drules in the tournament. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf a\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/californias-louis-lappe-hits-home-run-team-wins-little-league-world-series\/\" title=\"California's Louis Lappe scores home run, team triumphs in Little League World Series.\">player pitches 51-65 pitches<\/a> in a day,\u200d three (3) calendar days of rest must be observed.\u200b If a player pitches 36-50 pitches in a\u200b day, two (2) calendar days of rest must \u2062be observed. If a player pitches 21-35 \u2062pitches in a day, one (1) calendar day of \u2064rest must be observed,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.littleleague.org\/playing-rules\/pitch-count\/#:~:text=If%20a%20player%20pitches%2051,of%20rest%20must%20be%20observed.\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.littleleague.org\/playing-rules\/pitch-count\/#:~:text=If%20a%20player%20pitches%2051,of%20rest%20must%20be%20observed.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LittleLeague.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite giving up\u2064 a 5-1 lead, California was able to\u200b come back\u2064 and out on top, taking \u2064home the\u200d championship title. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWhat we did may never happen again in the history of El Segundo,\u201d Boehle said. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Stay informed!
