The crash claimed the lives\u2064 of a\u200d paramedic captain and a resident on the ground,\u2063 while leaving \u2064two others on \u200cboard and two individuals at the complex injured.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2062paramedic captain, Terryson Jackson, a dedicated 19-year veteran of Broward County Fire-Rescue, \u2064and a \u2062woman lost their lives when the\u2063 Broward Sheriff&#8217;s\u200c Office helicopter crashed through the roof\u200c of the complex. The identity of \u200dthe deceased woman has not been disclosed pending\u200c notification of her family.<\/p>\n<p>A video capturing the\u200d incident shows flames engulfing the helicopter&#8217;s midsection,\u200c followed by a plume of smoke.\u2064 The helicopter \u200bthen breaks apart and\u2063 spirals downward before crashing.
