Millions of jobs \u2062recovered are\u200c not millions of jobs \u201ccreated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His \u2064claim that, under \u200chis\u2064 policies, \u201cAmericans are already saving hundreds or even thousands of dollars\u200c per year\u201d is belied by the simple experience of everyday citizens going to the grocery store or\u200d the\u200c gas \u200dstation.<\/p>\n<p>As\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/08\/11\/economy\/inflation-rate-spending\/index.html#:~:text=The%20typical%20American%20household%20spent%20%24709%20more%20in,price%20growth%20has%20cooled%20considerably%20in%20recent%20months.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>, again, reported Aug. 11, an analysis by Moody\u2019s Analytics showed Americans are spending $709 more a month to\u200c buy the same\u2063 things in 2023 that they were when\u2064 Biden took office.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s $709 most Americans don\u2019t\u200b have in their couch cushions.<\/p>\n<p>And even if \u200dMoody\u2019s economist Mark Zandi wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Markzandi\/status\/1689626770947915776\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in a social media post<\/a> on Aug. 10 that he thought inflation was \u201cset to moderate\u200c further,\u201d that\u2019s not the same as\u200d saying anything\u2019s going to go back to what it \u2063was when Donald Trump was president three short years ago.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, inflation was \u200c1.4 percent, according to \u200bthe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/opub\/ted\/2021\/consumer-price-index-2020-in-review.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bureau of Labor Statistics<\/a>. The average price \u200cfor a gallon\u2062 of gas\u200b in \u2063the U.S. in 2020 was $2.38 before the COVID pandemic hit its full force and drove gas \u2063prices to historic lows, \u2062according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eia.gov\/todayinenergy\/detail.php?id=46356\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Energy Information Agency<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump can\u2019t get credit for \u2062the low gas prices of the COVID-lockdown era, of \u2064course. But is there an American on the road driving\u200b a\u200c traditional gas-powered vehicle who wouldn\u2019t trade \u200c$2.38\u2063 for the numbers on gas station signs now?<\/p>\n<p>(Don\u2019t forget the pre-COVID stock market\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/stock-markets-jump-time-high-trumps-iran-address\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">going gangbusters<\/a>, record-low levels of unemployment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-economy-sets-third-straight-month-record-black-unemployment-rates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for black Americans<\/a> and other minorities liberals claim \u2062to care about, not to mention peace\u2064 efforts \u2062abroad between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-trump-announces-massive-breakthrough-peace-israel-reaches-deal-another-arab-nation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Israel and historic enemies<\/a> and the fact\u200d that Russia didn\u2019t invade anyone \u2062when\u2062 Trump \u200cwas\u2062 in charge.)<\/p>\n<p>In short, \u2064a three-minute spiel\u200b from a doddering, almost certainly corrupt \u2064figurehead in the Oval\u200b Office\u200b is no \u2063substitute for the lived experience (as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/tlaib-goes-unhinged-rant-parents-concerned-crt-schools-continue-pushing-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">liberals \u200dlike to say<\/a>) of ordinary\u200d Americans going \u2064about \u2064their business in the \u200cera \u2064of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidenomics-fail-americans-increasingly-forced-dip-retirement-accounts-make-ends-meet-major-bank-reveals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bidenomics<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">WTF is\u2062 this CGI?
