And in the case of the COVID vaccines they also help reduce the likelihood of \u2018long COVID.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Further, the BA.2.86 variant has sparked concern because it appears able to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/warning-covid-masks-linked-to-seizures-cancer-nih-study\/\" title=\"NIH Study: Covid Masks Linked to Seizures, Cancer - Caution!\">evade existing\u2063 immunity<\/a> to the coronavirus,\u200d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/health\/2023\/08\/25\/covid-variant-ba-2-86-pirola\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Washington Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Termination of \u2064Reporting System Raises Questions<\/h3>\n<p>Now one system\u2063 used \u200dto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/call-a-doctor-if-you-use-any-of-these-supplements-they-could-be-putting-your-health-at-risk\/\" title=\"Call a Doctor If You Use any of These Supplements \u2013 They Could Be Putting Your Health at Risk\">report adverse reactions<\/a> to the vaccines\u200b is no \u200clonger operating.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cdc-mysteriously-stops-accepting-covid-vaccine-adverse-event-reports-ahead-of-new-vaccine-push-report\/\" title=\"CDC halts COVID vaccine adverse event reports before new vaccine campaign: Report\">federal government created multiple methods<\/a> to report adverse reactions to vaccines during the federal government\u2019s push for vaccinations.<\/p>\n<p>One \u2063of \u200bthem,\u2062 an app called\u2063 V-safe, was \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/elon-musk-suggests-covid-vaccine-might-responsible-lebron-james-sons-cardiac-arrest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">phased\u200c out<\/a> earlier this year, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccinesafety\/ensuringsafety\/monitoring\/v-safe\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CDC<\/a> posted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn May 19, 2023, CDC closed \u200denrollment in v-safe for \u2064COVID-19 vaccines. V-safe was\u2062 developed specifically for COVID-19 vaccines and has been an essential\u200d component of the pandemic vaccine safety monitoring systems that have successfully\u2064 characterized the safety of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-pfizer-profits-plummet-covid-vaccine-treatment-sales-evaporate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COVID-19 \u2063vaccines<\/a> used in the United States. CDC is developing a new version \u200dof <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccinesafety\/ensuringsafety\/monitoring\/v-safe\/index.html\">v-safe<\/a>, which will allow users to share their post-vaccination experiences\u2064 with new vaccines,\u201d the CDC \u2064reported on its website.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCDC will continue to monitor\u200b the safety of COVID-19\u2063 vaccines through its other vaccine safety monitoring \u200dsystems.\u200d V-safe users or others who get vaccinated can \u2062report any possible health\u200b problems or adverse events\u2062 following vaccination to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccinesafety\/ensuringsafety\/monitoring\/vaers\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System\u200d (VAERS)<\/a>,\u201d it posted.<\/p>\n<p>But one critic is not taking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-pfizer-profits-plummet-covid-vaccine-treatment-sales-evaporate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">that notice<\/a> at face value.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoes this mean that the \u2064CDC believes that the mRNA Covid-19 injections are so safe, there is\u2064 no need to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cdc-removes-covid-vaccine-adverse-event-reports-from-website-report\/\" title=\"CDC reportedly removes COVID vaccine adverse event reports from website.\">monitor adverse event reports<\/a> any longer? What is the argument against continued \u200cmonitoring, especially since the V-safe website was already up and paid for?\u201d\u200b David Gortler wrote on the website of the \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/brownstone.org\/articles\/cdc-refusing-new-covid-vaccine-adverse-event-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brownstone Institute<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile CDC\u2019s V-safe was stealthily and \u200dabruptly turned off, \u200crefusing to accept new safety \u200creports, to this very day the \u200cCDC \u200ccontinues to urge everyone ages 6 months and older to stay <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/stay-up-to-date.html\">up\u2062 to date<\/a> with COVID-19 vaccines and boosters,\u201d he\u2063 wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Noting\u200b that the Food and Drug Administration operates the\u2063 VAERS system, Gortler wrote that in his opinion, \u201cthe CDC has concluded that collecting new safety \u2062reports is somehow no longer in the interest of America\u2019s public health.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWill the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mystery-arises-cdc-director-resigns-suddenly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CDC<\/a> opine on the existing data or justify its halting of collecting \u200cnew safety data?
