According to \u200cShokin, he\u200c believes\u200c that \u200dthe \u2064Bidens were being bribed by \u2062the company.<\/p>\n<p>Shokin asserts that he was dismissed\u2063 towards the end of the\u200c Obama administration when Biden \u2063threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless he was\u2064 let go. \u2063He\u200b insists that there were no complaints about his performance and \u2062that the entire ordeal\u200d was a\u200b humiliation for his country. Shokin claims \u2063that Hunter Biden was appointed to\u200d Burisma&#8217;s board\u2064 of directors \u2064to protect the company&#8217;s CEO and founder, Mykola \u2063Zlochevsky.<\/p>\n<p>Shokin states, \u200c&#8221;I have no doubt that \u2062there were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/corporations-silent-on-why-they-pulled-funding-from-republicans-who-questioned-an-election-but-not-democrats-who-did-the-same\/\" title=\"Corporations Silent On Why They Pulled Funding From Republicans Who Questioned An Election, But Not Democrats Who Did The Same\">illegal activities engaged<\/a>\u2062 in by Burisma. As a matter of fact, \u2064the criminal case had been started before \u2062me. It continued to expand\u200d and Zlochevsky started \u2063bringing in people who could provide protection for him. Hunter Biden \u200dwas among them, \u200band the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ex-ukraine-prosecutor-makes-explosive-claim-bidens-were-being-bribed\/\" title=\"Former Ukrainian prosecutor alleges Biden family involvement in bribery.\">corruption network expanded<\/a>\u2062 as a result. So, yes, there was no doubt in my mind that Burisma was\u200b engaged in illegal activities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to\u200d Shokin, he was \u200cfired because if he had continued his investigation, he would have uncovered the corrupt\u2062 activities of Burisma.\u200d He claims\u2062 that prosecutors were looking into various counts, including the illegal production \u2062and sale \u200cof \u2063gas by the company.<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/p>\n<p>When asked about\u2062 the possibility of\u2063 Joe Biden\u200d and\u200c Hunter Biden receiving bribes, Shokin \u2064responded, &#8220;I do not \u200bwant to deal in unproven facts, but my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/viktor-shokin-claims-biden-pressured-government-to-fire-him-amid-burisma-investigation\/\" title=\"Viktor Shokin alleges Biden pushed for his dismissal during Burisma probe.\">firm\u200c personal conviction<\/a> is that, \u2062yes, this was the case.&#8221; He further questions whether Biden&#8217;s decision to give away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for his dismissal is not itself a case \u2064of corruption.<\/p>\n<p>Watch\u2062 the interview\u200c below:<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>end of 2015 due to pressure from Joe Biden, who allegedly wanted to protect his son, Hunter, from investigation.
