Sweeney eventually\u2063 left in \u200da cart sitting up but\u200b with \u200chis shirt \u200doff.\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/giants?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#giants<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jordan Raanan (@JordanRaanan) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JordanRaanan\/status\/1694403422663946260?\">August\u200b 23, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cScary \u2062scene at Giants practice earlier with\u2063 TE Tommy Sweeney \u2064down on the field for several \u2063minutes\u2063 and \u200cbeing worked on by multiple medical personnel,\u201d \u2063Raanan posted to X.<\/p>\n<p>In a subsequent\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JordanRaanan\/status\/1694418128594190586\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">X post<\/a>, Raanan revealed that Sweeney had\u2064 had a nondescript \u201cmedical event,\u201d \u200dbefore adding that the tight end was \u200b\u201cstable,\u2063 alert \u200band conversant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the scare, Sweeney \u200bwas taken off\u200c the field\u200b in a\u2062 cart, \u2062sitting upright with his shirt\u200d off.<\/p>\n<p>According to \u200dthe\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/08\/23\/giants-tommy-sweeney-carted-off-after-scary-medical-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York \u200cPost<\/a>, Giants\u200d quarterback Daniel Jones was \u200dthere on\u2062 the \u2063field and said of the \u2064incident:\u00a0\u201cThat was extremely scary. You\u2062 never want to \u200dsee that on the \u200bfield.
