Barry Loudermilk Demands White House Turn Over \u2063Transcripts<\/h2>\n<p>Republican \u2062Rep. Barry Loudermilk of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/georgia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgia<\/a> is demanding\u200b that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/white-house\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">White House<\/a> turn over a number of transcripts of interviews with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/january-6-committee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">House Select Committee on January 6<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Loudermilk\u2063 heads the House Administration \u200dCommittee\u2019s Subcommittee on Oversight and is leading an audit of\u2062 the disbanded January 6 committee\u2019s investigation into the Capitol riot. Loudermilk revealed earlier this month that the January 6 committee\u200c did not keep all \u200dof \u200bits records, and that some are being held by the White House and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201c[T]he White House is in possession of records that are the property of the U.S. House of Representatives, including testimony provided to the Select Committee to\u2062 Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol,\u201d Loudermilk wrote in a Friday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23927253-82523-rep-loudermilk-letter-to-sauber62\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">letter<\/a> to the White House obtained by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/house-republican-demands-unredacted-jan-6-panel-transcripts-white-hous-rcna101807\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a>. \u201cThese records must \u2062be returned\u200d immediately in their original form without alteration or redaction.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Georgia Republican said that the White House appears to be holding the transcripts of \u2064interviews \u200dof \u201cmultiple Secret Service agents or employees who were assigned to former President Trump on January 6, 2021.\u201d \u200dLoudermilk said that the interviews of the Secret Service\u2063 employees were referenced in November 2022 letters between \u200cthe White House and DHS.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201c[N]o Congressional committee, \u2064prior to the Democrat-controlled Select Committee, had ever sought to compel the testimony of a Secret Service agent about activities they observed while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gop-rep-investigating-j6-demands-unredacted-records-from-white-house\/\" title=\"GOP Rep probing J6 demands full records from White House.\">performing protective functions<\/a>,\u201d he wrote. \u201cDespite this, you wrote that President Biden would not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trumps-ex-wh-counsel-mcgahn-to-testify-next-week-about-mueller-report\/\" title=\"Trump's Ex-WH Counsel McGahn to Testify Next Week About Mueller Report\">assert executive privilege<\/a> with respect to testimony to be provided by these individuals to the Select \u200bCommittee.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)\u2064 tapped Loudermilk to \u200clead an investigation\u2063 into\u200b the January \u200b6 committee\u2019s findings. Earlier this month, Loudermilk accused the\u200b committee of manipulating evidence to create an anti-Trump\u2063 \u201cnarrative\u201d while failing to\u200c investigate key aspects of the Capitol riot, such as \u2064the actions\u2064 of security officials at the U.S. Capitol that day.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBasically, all they did after spending $18.5 \u200cmillion was come out with \u200da manifesto against [former President Donald Trump], trying to \u200btie Donald Trump to the attack on the Capitol,\u201d \u2063Loudermilk said in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/investigate-the-investigators-j6-committee-ignored-manipulated-evidence-for-narrative-gop-rep-says\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Wire<\/a>. \u201cThat was their narrative. Everything that they did appears to be \u2064to just come up with that narrative.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">CLICK HERE TO GET\u2062 THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u2064January 6 committee \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnns-acosta-blasted-for-saying-scientists-should-name-covid-19-variants-after-gop-governors\/\" title=\"CNN\u2019s Acosta Blasted For Saying Scientists Should Name COVID-19 Variants After GOP Governors\">blue team<\/a>\u201d \u200cwas tasked with \u2062investigating Capitol security, but Loudermilk said that after reviewing the committee\u2019s underlying \u2064research, his team found next\u200c to no \u2062documentation showing the blue team ever investigated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s a set of documents \u200cthat we don\u2019t have.
