Myers. It was then adopted by the committees in Collier, Lake, Santa Rosa, Seminole, St. Johns Hillsborough, and Brevard Counties. Franklin County became the ninth county to pass it on Aug. 19.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On behalf \u200bof the \u2064preservation of the human race, the Lee County Republican \u2064Party calls upon Gov. DeSantis\u2064 and \u200dthe state legislature to prohibit the sale and \u2062distribution \u2062of Covid injections and\u2063 all mRNA injections in the state of Florida, and for the \u200dstate Attorney General\u2062 to\u200c immediately seize all Covid injections and mRNA \u200cinjections in the \u200dstate of Florida \u200dand have a forensic analysis conducted,&#8221; the\u2063 committee said \u200din voting to adopt the resolution.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution includes more than 140 exhibits of evidence that the authors say point to\u200c the independent \u200dfindings of biomedical professionals and \u2064others concerned about vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>None of the executive counties responded to The Epoch \u2063Times&#8217; request for further comment.<\/p>\n<p>The CDC declined\u2062 to comment. The Republican Party of Florida, Pfizer, Moderna, and the FDA did \u200bnot respond to\u2064 requests for comment from The \u2062Epoch Times.<\/p>\n<h2>Accusations \u200bAgainst the Vaccine<\/h2>\n<p>The resolution adopted by GOP officials across the \u200bstate\u2062 includes a statement from Francis A. Boyle, the human \u2062rights lawyer and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-in-nine-florida-counties-adopt-resolution-calling-for-ban-of-covid-19-vaccines\/\" title=\"Republicans in 9 FL counties urge ban on COVID-19 vaccines.\">international law professor credited<\/a> with writing the Biological Weapons and \u2062Anti-Terrorist\u2062 Act of 1989. That legislation established \u200bthe U.S. Code&#8217;s current bioweapon definition.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Boyle described the vaccines as &#8220;COVID frankenshots&#8221; and alleged that they are &#8220;existentially dangerous to\u200d the lives, health,\u2062 and well-being of the \u200dpeople of Florida.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width:640px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto\" class=\"aligncenter\"><figcaption>A health care\u2064 worker prepares a COVID-19 vaccine in\u200c a\u2064 file photograph. (Bay Ismoyo\/AFP via Getty \u2063Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It also cites a coalition of 17,000 physicians and medical scientists gathered in May 2022 for what they called\u2063 the <a href=\"https:\/\/globalcovidsummit.org\/news\/declaration-iv-restore-scientific-integrity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Global COVID\u200b Summit.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>That summit decided to &#8220;recognize that the disastrous COVID-19 public health policies imposed on\u2064 doctors and our patients are the culmination of a corrupt medical alliance of pharmaceutical, insurance, and healthcare institutions, along with \u2062the financial trusts\u200b which control them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The \u2064resolution also cites the national Vaccine\u200c Adverse Event Reporting\u200b System (VAERS), which chronicles \u2064reports\u2062 of adverse reactions to vaccines including COVID-19 vaccines.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width:640px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto\" class=\"aligncenter\"><figcaption>Gov. (Courtesy \u2063of \u200dthe Florida Governor&#8217;s Office)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Following the\u200d COVID-19 vaccine rollout,\u2064 there was a reported 1,700 percent increase in VAERS reports and a \u200c4,400 percent increase in reported\u2062 &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fda-lifts-restriction-on-remote-prescriptions-of-abortion-drugs\/\" title=\"FDA Lifts Restriction on Remote Prescriptions of Abortion Drugs\">life-threatening conditions<\/a>,&#8221; according to Florida&#8217;s own VAERS data.<\/p>\n<p>In total, more than 41,000 adverse-effect VAERS reports were filed in Florida in 2021 and more than 9,000 in 2022.<\/p>\n<h2>The Governor&#8217;s Actions<\/h2>\n<p>Mr. DeSantis, currently running for the\u2062 Republican nomination for president, already has taken measures to push back against vaccine mandates in the state.<\/p>\n<p>He persuaded the\u2062 Florida Supreme Court to impanel a grand jury in December 2022 to determine if any\u2063 crimes were committed during the\u200c vaccine\u2019s rollout.<\/p>\n<p>In May, he \u2064signed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/article\/desantis-slams-federal-covid-response-as-he-signs-medical-freedom-bills-5259774?utm_source=open&#038;utm_medium=search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">four \u2062medical \u2064freedom<\/a> bills.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/Session\/Bill\/2023\/252\/BillText\/er\/PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Senate Bill\u200c 252<\/a> prohibits discrimination based on vaccination\u2062 status and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-texas-bans-vaccine-passports\/\" title=\"BREAKING: Texas Bans Vaccine Passports\">bans vaccine passports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/Session\/Bill\/2023\/1387\/BillText\/er\/PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">House \u2064Bill 1387<\/a> bans gain-of-function research in the state \u200cof Florida.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/Session\/Bill\/2023\/1580\/BillText\/er\/PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Senate Bill \u200b1580<\/a> guarantees \u200bfreedom of speech protections for physicians and medical professionals, such \u200cas protection for whistleblowers and the ability to object to participating in any\u2063 treatments.<\/p>\n<p>And <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/Session\/Bill\/2023\/238\/BillText\/er\/PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Senate Bill 238<\/a> provides protection against discrimination based on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-daily-wire-signs-allison-williams-ousted-espn-sportscaster-who-resisted-vaccine-mandate\/\" title=\"BREAKING: Daily Wire Signs Allison Williams, Ousted ESPN Sportscaster Who Resisted Vaccine Mandate\">health care choices<\/a> by keeping any investigations on the \u2064matter confidential.<\/p>\n<p>Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo has been critical \u200cof the federal government&#8217;s pressure for citizens\u2062 to submit \u200bto\u200c COVID-19 vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHealthcare professionals should always communicate the risks of a \u200cmedical intervention to their patients in a manner that is clinically \u200dappropriate and meets standards of ethical practice,&#8221; he said during a round-table discussion with Mr. DeSantis in December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;President Biden \u200band Big Pharma have completely prevented that from happening\u2014it is wrong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith these new \u2063actions, \u2062we will shed light on the forces that have\u200b obscured truthful communication \u2063about the COVID-19\u200d vaccines.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A growing movement urges Florida Gov.
