There \u2064was, of course, no legitimate reason \u2064to \u200btake a mugshot of a former president. The whole purpose\u200d of a mugshot is to provide\u200b law enforcement with photographic documentation of the suspect. But \u200cDonald Trump is the most recognizable and famous person in the world \u2014 possibly in the history\u200b of the world. When \u200dhe shows up\u200b for trial they aren\u2019t going to have to \u2064refer back to his mugshot to make sure it\u2019s really him. \u200bThere isn\u2019t\u200d going\u200b to\u200c be anyone saying, \u201cWait,\u200d is that Donald Trump?\u2064 It\u2019s hard to tell. Pull up his mug shot.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>So why \u2064did they take this step? What\u2064 was the point?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The point of course was\u2063 pure humiliation\u2062 and vengeance. It was\u2063 also to give\u2063 the DA, Fani Willis, a\u2062 political trophy to put on her wall. It\u2019s something that she wants to use when \u200dshe inevitably runs for the Senate, or governor, in a few years. Of course, it all backfired, as it was \u200balways destined to. The \u2063mugshot instantly\u200d became \u2062an iconic image, and had exactly the effect that\u200c any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trumps-mugshot-backfires-massively-on-the-left\/\" title=\"Trump's mugshot causes major backlash from the left.\">half-conscious political \u2064observer knew<\/a> it \u200bwould have \u2014 rallying the\u200b base around Trump. Trump is now\u2062 fundraising off of the image \u2014 and smartly so \u2014 and will likely raise many millions just \u2063from the mugshot alone. In fact, we can say that if Donald Trump does manage to get elected to the presidency again, Fani Willis \u200cwill be largely responsible for it. She is\u2062 the most effective campaign\u2064 manager \u200bTrump has ever had, even if unintentionally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But even\u200b if this all\u2064 obviously works to Trump\u2019s advantage, that doesn\u2019t make\u200c it\u200c any less outrageous. Nor should we be distracted from the lessons that this moment is trying to teach us. The most obvious one is that the Left is beyond caring about even the pretense of legitimacy \u200c\u2014 something they used to pretend to care deeply about. In fact,\u200d through this whole ordeal, they\u2019re not even acting like they\u2019ve stopped some grave threat to\u200c democracy \u2014 because \u200bthey know they\u2019ve done the exact opposite of\u2063 that. They are wielding raw political power for the sole, lawless purpose of incarcerating someone who stands a\u200c very real chance of\u200c winning the presidential election in a little over\u200d a year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In fact,\u200d many on the \u200dLeft don\u2019t want Trump incarcerated \u2014 they want\u200d him killed. An MSNBC anchor just openly\u200c fantasized \u200babout Donald Trump \u200dgetting\u2062 shanked and murdered in prison. They\u2019d fight any consequences for it in court. If the First Amendment protects anything, \u200dit\u2019s \u2063airing\u200d the words of a former president at \u200da time\u200c like\u2064 this. But MSNBC\u2019s statement isn\u2019t true, of course. It\u2019s a\u200d dumb jab at Fox News \u2062over the Dominion lawsuit, and\u2064 it \u200bprotects their viewers from hearing about\u2064 the\u2063 substance in these\u200c indictments,\u200c or lack \u2064thereof. That\u2019s\u200c why \u2062they do it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here\u2019s\u200c what they\u2019re not \u2063telling viewers at MSNBC. The Fulton County DA, Fani Willis, has \u2064indicted Donald\u200d Trump, \u2062along with 18 \u200dco-defendants, for the following crimes: \u2063Offering legal advice to the president, tweeting things that Fani\u2063 Willis\u2062 doesn\u2019t like, and, in one particularly \u2062egregious case, getting someone\u2019s\u200c phone number.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The indictment states: \u201cOn or about the 21st Day of\u2063 November 2020, Mark Randall\u2064 Meadows sent a text message to United\u200b States Representative Scott\u200c Perry from Pennsylvania and stated, \u2063\u2018Can you send\u2064 me the number\u2062 for the speaker \u2063and the leader of PA \u200cLegislature.\u200c POTUS wants to chat with them.\u2019 This was an overt act in\u200d furtherance of the conspiracy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/show\/the-matt-walsh-show\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH:\u200b The Matt Walsh \u200bShow<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One of those advisers is John Eastman. What\u2019s\u2063 his offense? He advanced the legal theory that alternative slates of electors \u2064could be seated if election fraud was found. \u200cThat\u2019s\u200d apparently criminal now. It\u200c wasn\u2019t illegal \u200bin 1960, when JFK\u2019s electors from Hawaii <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/02\/07\/1960-electoral-college-certificates-false-trump-electors-00006186\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">met secretly<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  and submitted their own certificates to Washington, saying\u200b he had won the state. As POLITICO reported, \u201cthe Hawaii Democrats used \u200dvirtually the same language\u201d that \u2063Trump\u2063 electors in five states \u201cused in their effort\u2063 to upend\u2062 the 2020 race.\u201d \u2064Ultimately, Kennedy\u2019s electors turned out to be the legitimate ones, after \u2062a recount determined\u200d Kennedy had won \u2063the\u200d state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anyone looking\u2063 at that episode\u2064 in 1960\u200b would say it\u2019s\u2064 a \u200dgood thing that alternative electors can be sent to \u200bWashington, in\u2062 the case of a recount that changes the result of the election. But now \u200cthat\u2019s criminal. It\u2019s a \u201cRICO violation,\u201d supposedly. John Eastman and several other lawyers are now \u2063facing several years in prison because they did exactly what\u2062 JFK\u2019s electors did \u200c\u2014\u2064 and were vindicated for doing \u2014 in 1960. David Shafer, who was one of Trump\u2019s alternate electors from Georgia, has \u2062also been indicted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ray Smith is facing jail\u200d time, too. \u2063His \u2063offense? Per Axios, Smith, \u201cgathered witnesses \u200cto testify in \u200chearings before Georgia lawmakers in Dec. 2020 about \u200dalleged problems with the state\u2019s election.\u201d That\u2019s not allowed anymore.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Neither is tweeting about\u200d these hearings, apparently.The indictment states: \u201cOn or about the 3rd \u200dday of December 2020, Donald John Trump\u2063 caused to be\u200d tweeted from the Twitter account @RealDonaldTrump, \u2018Georgia hearings now on @OANN. Amazing!\u2019 This was \u2062an overt\u2062 act\u200c in furtherance of the conspiracy.\u201d For the \u2064crime of tweeting about a\u200c hearing about election \u2062fraud,\u200c and related offenses, Fani Willis wants to send Trump and 18\u200b of his associates to\u2062 prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And \u200dshe wants\u200c to do it very quickly. Willis just <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23926007-georgia-v-trump-special-trial-date-motion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">filed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  a\u200c request with the court \u200bfor this trial to take place in just two months \u2014 beginning on October 23. So, for this unprecedented criminal trial of 19 \u200cdefendants, based on a completely novel\u200b and \u200binsane legal\u2062 theory,\u200c she wants the defense \u2062to have a total of two months\u2063 to prepare. \u200dIs that constitutional?\u2062 Honestly, no one in \u200bthe DA\u2019s office seems to care.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It\u2019s at this point that it\u2019s fair to look into the Fulton County DA, Fani Willis. It\u2019s\u2064 long been known she\u2019s\u200d a Democrat and an opponent of Donald Trump. In itself, that\u2019s not necessarily disqualifying. Everyone, even\u200c DA\u2019s, \u200dhas a right to his or her \u2063own\u2062 political \u200bopinions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But Fani Willis has gone far beyond that. Just a year ago, she hosted a fundraiser \u200bfor a Democratic candidate \u2063running against \u2063one \u200cof the targets of her election investigation, a state senator named Burt Jones. Jones was one of Trump\u2019s alternate electors. \u2063Here\u2019s how the judge responded\u2062 when he found out\u200b about this:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is\u2063 a DA who has to be told by a judge \u2062not to host fundraisers for the political opponents of politicians she plans to prosecute.\u200d She\u2019s that dumb and corrupt. \u200cBy the \u2062way, Jones wasn\u2019t indicted\u200b along\u2062 with the other 19 defendants, maybe because Fani Willis knew the\u2062 judge would\u200c throw it out. She blew that prosecution. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But if you look at Fani Willis\u2019\u200d social media\u200b feeds, as Benny Johnson\u2064 did the other day, then you\u2019ll come to\u2062 the conclusion that actually, she\u2019s blown all 19 of these prosecutions.\u2063 Willis\u2019 feed is \u2062littered with posts \u200bcasting doubt on \u2064the legitimacy of the 2020 election\u200d before \u2062the vote totals suddenly\u2064 shifted against \u200cTrump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For example, \u201cGeorgia could determine who is our next\u200b president,\u201d she wrote on \u200dNovember \u20644, 2020. \u201cA TEAM of lawyers needs to \u2063watch them\u2062 count every\u200c single VOTE. They\u2063 can start in Fulton where we\u2062 are \u2063having \u200bwater leaks. \u2064What ballots are\u200b they throwing\u2063 out? \u200cGeorgia\u200c lets \u2063give an honest accounting. No stunts!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In 2018, Willis said it was suspicious that local \u2063election commissioners hadn\u2019t \u200capproved a recount\u2062 of some \u200dvotes in\u200b Fulton County. \u201cYou all better\u2062 start paying attention to \u2062what is really going\u200c on,\u201d she wrote. She also argued\u2064 that \u200bthe Secretary of State \u201ccontrols\u200c elections,\u201d adding, \u201cI\u200d wonder if \u2063we yet \u200brealize that \u200cis \u2064an \u2063important role?\u201d She also posted a lot\u2062 of\u2064 BLM propaganda, worships Kamala \u200dHarris, and owns\u2063 a mug saying she\u2019s a \u201cproud Democrat.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So\u200d we can conclude that Fani Willis \u200bis something of a politically\u2062 motivated election denier. As always, the Left is guilty of doing exactly what they accuse their opponents of \u2064doing.\u200d The obvious point \u200bis that Donald Trump\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">social media posts<\/a>, if they are criminal, then so are Fani\u200c Willis\u2019. Her\u2062 prosecution\u2064 of Donald Trump, \u200dbased \u200don her posts,\u2064 is an \u2062\u201covert act\u201d \u200din\u200d furtherance\u200c of \u2063her conspiracy to keep Donald Trump out\u200b of the White House. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Will Republicans indict\u2063 Fani\u2063 Willis? \u200cIf Republicans retake the federal government, will\u200d they jail her for election interference? Ask any conservative right now, and they\u2019ll tell you\u200b it\u200c will never happen. And they\u2019re probably\u200d right. We\u2019re seeing a vast difference in tactics right\u2062 now between the two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/larry-hogan-calls-himself-an-underdog-in-video-after-saying-third-party-run-worth-trying\/\" title=\"Larry Hogan labels himself an 'underdog' in video, following his statement on considering a third-party run.\">major\u200b political parties<\/a>. Conservatives would never \u2063dream of dragging, \u2063say, George Soros into\u200d court on\u2064 some pretext for \u200bthe sole purpose of harassing him. Liberals, on the other hand, have no problem <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/justice-department-sues-spacex-discriminating-against-asylees-and-refugees-hiring\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">suing<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  Elon Musk for not hiring \u2062enough refugees. They relish every opportunity to use state power to\u200d punish their opponents. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With each \u2064passing month, they\u2019re\u2063 getting more comfortable doing it. First, they target grandmothers walking around\u2064 the Capitol. Then they jail \u200dDouglas Mackey for some memes. Then they go after Donald Trump for his\u200d tweets and his \u2062\u201cclassified\u200b documents.\u201d And\u200c now, in \u2063Georgia, they\u2019re targeting\u200b not only Donald Trump, but\u200d more than a dozen\u2064 of his advisers and associates. This will continue until they\u2019re in jail, or all of their opponents are.
