According to Jones, TSA managers were allegedly told that mask mandates would be reinstated at airports by mid-September, followed by\u2062 lockdown measures in December.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBREAKING: Alex Jones says a TSA whistleblower \u2064has told him TSA employees were instructed on Tue that masks are coming back by October for travelers &#038; full Covid restrictions\/lockdowns by\u2062 December due to a new \u2018dangerous variant\u2019 out of \u200cCanada,\u201d said a post on X, with the video\u2063 of Mr. Jones earlier this week.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The TSA has categorically denied these claims, stating that there are no new requirements and no meetings have taken place regarding this matter. The agency emphasized that the U.S. Centers for \u200bDisease Control and Prevention (CDC) is responsible for making public health determinations, including decisions on masking requirements.<\/p>\n<p>While the TSA has the \u2062authority to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-agency-responds-to-rumors-of-coming-covid-19-lockdown\/\" title=\"Federal agency addresses COVID-19 lockdown rumors.\">implement \u200cmask-related requirements based<\/a> on \u200cCDC orders, it is not currently imposing any such requirements. The agency referred to CDC recommendations, which advise individuals to stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations and consider wearing masks in crowded or poorly ventilated indoor\u200b areas, including on public transportation and in transportation \u200bhubs.<\/p>\n<p>Benjamin Haynes, a spokesperson for the CDC, has dismissed reports of upcoming lockdowns as &#8220;utterly false.&#8221; The Epoch Times has reached out to the CDC\u200c for further comment.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Jones has not responded \u2062to\u200b requests for comment.<\/p>\n<h3>COVID-19 Hospitalizations and the Current Situation<\/h3>\n<p>Recent data\u2064 from the CDC shows a rise in COVID-19 hospitalizations across the country. However, it is important to note that this increase is still relatively \u2064low compared to previous levels seen during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Shira Doron, \u2062the chief infection control officer for Tufts Medicine, explained that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mike-kelly-same-people-criticizing-trump-peddled-russia-collusion-hoax\/\" title=\"Mike Kelly: Same People Criticizing Trump Peddled Russia Collusion Hoax\">current situation<\/a> \u2063does not constitute a surge or wave. This order was enforced by the TSA but was later struck\u200d down \u2062by a federal judge \u200cin Florida on \u2062April 18, 2022.<\/p>\n<h2>Mandates Returning Elsewhere?<\/h2>\n<p>Senator Ron Johnson has raised concerns about\u2063 the reinstatement of mask mandates in certain offices, hospitals, and schools.
