If \u200dit had, it would have\u2064 likely placed\u200b between 5th and \u200b7th.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight on cue, the liberal media took aim, \u2062using the BookScan \u200bnumber\u200b to report \u200bit as a \u2018flop\u2019 and proof of Tucker Carlson\u2019s irrelevance,\u201d Delany complained.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Official \u2062statement \u200cregarding possible irregularities \u2063in reporting\u200b sales to \u200dBookScan by major\u200b retailers of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Chadwick_Moore?\">@Chadwick_Moore<\/a>\u2018s biography of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TuckerCarlson?\">@TuckerCarlson<\/a>.\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jhBewdROuA\">pic.twitter.com\/jhBewdROuA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 All Seasons Press\u200c (@AllSeasonsPress) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AllSeasonsPress\/status\/1691909692388249822?\">August 16, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The publishing firm has\u2063 retained an attorney and plans \u200dto \u2064investigate the ranking practices \u201cand how these rankings populate various bestsellers [lists],\u201d Delany wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShould findings warrant, All Seasons Press will be forwarding these findings to\u200b the\u200c Federal Trade Commission.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Delany explained some of \u2062the\u200b inner workings of\u2064 book\u200d sales \u2063figures and how they could\u200c be manipulated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBookScan does not measure actual sales from retailers but uses \u2063an algorithm taking samples from some, but not all retailers,\u201d the publisher said. \u201cMost importantly, BookScan relies\u200c on accurate reporting\u200b from said retailers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As evidence to support his point, Delany said that when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/robin-diangelos-new-book-bombs-with-one-fifth-as-many-debut-week-sales-as-michael-knowles-you-will-believe-which-one-made-nyt-list\/\" title=\"Robin DiAngelo\u2019s New Book Bombs, With One-Fifth As Many Debut-Week Sales As Michael Knowles\u2019. You Will Believe Which One Made NYT List\">pre-sales<\/a> were announced, \u201cTucker\u201d hit the \u200dNo. 14 spot among all books\u2064 on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/amazon-brazenly-locks-man-smart-home-false-allegation-latest-big-brother-tech-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon<\/a> \u200band \u2064placed first \u201cin numerous categories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When \u201cTucker\u201d launched, more than 50,000 \u2063copies had \u200bbeen shipped \u2063to retailers, including 7,523 units to Amazon, \u200dhe said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn \u200dlaunch day, the book was listed as \u201cSOLD OUT\u2019 on Amazon\u200b within minutes,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>But something didn\u2019t add up, Delany\u2062 said.<\/p>\n<p>If the book really had\u200c sold out within minutes on Amazon, \u201cwhy \u200cweren\u2019t those sales reported to BookScan?\u201d he\u2062 asked in the news release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf\u2062 they did not sell out their 7,523 unit inventory, why did they announce that the book was sold out and unavailable for \u200dsale?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Delany added additional \u200csales details that he called \u201ccertainly curious.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Instead\u200d of \u2063<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/amazon-ny-times-sabotaged-sales-of-tucker-carlson-biography-claims-irate-publisher-who-is-exploring-legal-options\/\" title=\"Publisher alleges Amazon, NY Times hindered sales of Tucker Carlson biography; considers legal recourse.\">fulfilling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/simon-schuster-announces-forthcoming-childrens-book-about-dr-fauci\/\" title=\"Simon &#038; Schuster Announces Forthcoming Children\u2019s Book About Dr. Fauci\">pre-ordered<\/a> copies immediately<\/a> after the \u2062book launched,\u200b he said, Amazon \u2062first fulfilled the orders received after the launch.<\/p>\n<p>Delany said a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bud-light-teams-iconic-american-company-desperate-attempt-win-back-customers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">customer poll<\/a> showed 40 percent \u200cof \u2063Amazon customers who \u200cpre-ordered \u200cthe Carlson biography had not received their copies \u206210 days \u200dafter the book\u2019s launch.<\/p>\n<p>Then, he said, \u201cAfter listing the book \u200das out of stock, Amazon emailed many preorder customers to ask if they wanted \u200bto cancel their orders,\u201d he\u2063 wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe email required the customer\u2063 to go on a \u2064desktop, not the app, and proactively confirm they\u200b still wanted the\u2062 book or the\u2064 order would automatically cancel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amazon sales are only\u2062 reported to BookScan\u200c after the customer\u2019s credit card\u2064 is charged and the order has shipped, \u200b\u201cso\u200c the BookScan number does \u2062not reflect a significant number of Amazon \u2064pre-orders,\u201d Delany said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt begs \u200bthe\u2062 question: Is Amazon \u2062intentionally trying to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/justice-alito-claims-pretty-good-idea-dobbs-leaker-sabotage-created-rift-scotus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sabotage<\/a> \u2018Tucker\u2019 sales\u2062 and bestseller status?\u201d the\u2063 publisher asked.<\/p>\n<p>Delany maintained that \u201cTucker\u201d has sold far more copies than what is reflected in the official\u2064 numbers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe\u200b fact is that not only Amazon, but retailers\u2064 across the country sold out of \u2018Tucker\u2019 almost immediately,\u201d he \u200bwrote. He said direct \u200bsales\u2063 through All Seasons Press numbered\u2063 almost six times the number of copies reported by BookScan and what Delany called\u2064 \u201cthe\u2064 frenzied, error-ridden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jen-psaki-blasted-letting-truth-slip-journalists-propaganda-shill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">journalists<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn spite \u2063of what seems to be \u200ba concerted effort by\u2062 Carlson\u2019s detractors to prevent\u2063 the \u200dsuccess of \u2018Tucker,\u2019 demand has been so strong that All Seasons Press has\u200b already ordered a \u200bsecond printing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In\u200d a follow-up news release\u2064 on Aug. \u206218 titled\u2062 \u201cTucker Crushes it!\u201d Delany called Carlson\u2019s biography\u2063 \u201ca runaway Bestseller,\u201d but added a new allegation, indicating that the \u2062New York Times was also inaccurately reporting sales of the book.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">All Seasons Press statement \u200bon\u2064 \u201cTucker\u201d week 2 sales.\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Y0pnPCfptQ\">pic.twitter.com\/Y0pnPCfptQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 All \u200bSeasons Press (@AllSeasonsPress) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AllSeasonsPress\/status\/1692621345492697365?\">August\u2063 18, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The\u200c publisher cited\u200b sales figures for the week ending \u200dAug. 12 that showed \u2018Tucker\u2019 \u2063had sold 11,491 copies, placing third\u2062 on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hunter-biden-book-total-flop-despite-extensive-media-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Publishers \u200cWeekly<\/a> list of hardcover \u200bnonfiction best-sellers and\u200b fourth on \u2062the Wall Street Journal\u2019s best-seller list.<\/p>\n<p>However, he\u200d added, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/twitter-strips-new-york-times-verification-elon-musk-makes-even-worse-fake-news-company\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The \u2062New \u2063York Times<\/a> unsurprisingly totally \u200bexcluded the book\u200d in \u2064spite of the fact that \u2018Tucker\u2019 sold 50% more than\u2062 their #2 \u200bnonfiction hardcover\u2063 and just 150 units \u200dbehind their #1!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cContrary to the Left\u2019s wishful thinking, Tucker remains one of the most important \u2062figures in American media,\u201d Delany proclaimed. \u201cHe isn\u2019t going away, and neither is this book.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carlson \u2062isn\u2019t the only conservative figure to experience challenges in the area \u2064of book sales.
