on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Related Story<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n        <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/mark-meadows-surrenders-released-on-100000-bond-in-trump-election-case-5480184\">Mark Meadows Surrenders, Released on $100,000 Bond in\u200b Trump Election Case<\/a><br \/>\n        <br \/>\n        <span class=\"text-comp-caption\">8\/24\/2023<\/span>\n      <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Managing the\u200d schedules of 19 different defendants was \u200ca\u200b concern legal experts had raised when the indictment\u2063 was first \u200dhanded up \u2063on Aug. 14, and Ms. Willis said in a press\u200c conference\u2062 afterwards that \u200dshe would go\u200d to trial\u200b within six months.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Steven Sadow, who joined President Trump&#8217;s legal team just Thursday, wrote a response to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/19-year-old-arrested-in-calif-for-double-murder\/\" title=\"19-year-old arrested in Calif. for double murder\">district attorney&#8217;<\/a>s motion\u2063 to oppose \u2063the schedule.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Trump also alerts the Court that he will be filing a timely motion to sever his\u200b case from that of co-defendant Chesebro, who has filed a demand for speedy trial, or any other co-defendant who files such\u2063 a demand,\u201d he \u200cwrote.<\/p>\n<p>Other defendants are expected to do the same, and sever their cases.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Chesebro&#8217;s attorney, Scott Grubman, indicated the October trial would not be a problem.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mr. Chesebro \u200dwill be prepared to \u200bmove forward with trial\u200d for whatever \u200ddate the Court\u200b ultimately sets,&#8221; he told The\u2064 Epoch Times, before Judge Scott McAfee ordered a Nov. 3 trial date \u2062for Mr. Chesebro.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The \u2064scheduling will\u2062 occur on an expedited timeline \u200bto \u2063meet the November 3, 2023 deadline to begin\u2063 trial,&#8221; he wrote, adding \u200ca Sept. 6 arraignment, Sept. 20 discovery deadline, and Sept. \u200c27 motions deadline. A pretrial conference for Mr. Chesebro will be held\u200c Sept. 29.<\/p>\n<p>Judge McAfee \u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoyceWhiteVance\/status\/1694802564225601812?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">noted<\/a> in his order that the deadlines for \u2063Mr. \u2062Chesebro&#8217;s \u200dtrial proceedings do not \u200dapply to any other \u200dco-defendant.<\/p>\n<h2>Schedules<\/h2>\n<p>President\u200b Trump, on the other hand, is facing several court proceedings as he continues to campaign for 2024 reelection.<\/p>\n<p>Court proceedings in\u200b Florida \u200bhave been ongoing in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-in-trumps-jan-6-case-worked-at-same-law-firm-as-hunter-biden-during-his-time-there\/\" title=\"Judge in Trump's Jan. 6 case once worked at same law firm as Hunter Biden.\">federal case brought<\/a> against him by special counsel Jack Smith over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-indictment-watch-on-hold-as-jack-smith-grand-jury-returns-no-charges-thursday\/\" title=\"Trump indictment watch paused as Jack Smith grand jury concludes without charges on Thursday.\">allegedly\u2062 mishandling classified documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Smith has brought another \u200dcase against \u200bhim, in Washington, over contesting the 2020 election results, similar to Ms. Willis&#8217;s\u200b Fulton County case but in federal court.<\/p>\n<p>Manhattan District Attorney\u2062 Alvin Bragg also has a case against him over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-judge-respond-to-fulton-county-das-october-2023-trial-proposal\/\" title=\"Trump and judge react to Fulton County DA's trial proposal in October 2023.\">allegedly mishandling business finances<\/a>, \u2063and \u2062all three of these cases \u200dcould\u200c potentially go to trial in 2024,\u200c as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/in-depth-desantis-and-youngkin-overseas-trips-fuel-2024-speculation\/\" title=\"IN-DEPTH: DeSantis and Youngkin Overseas Trips Fuel 2024 Speculation\">presidential election heats<\/a> up.<\/p>\n<p>On all\u2063 fronts, President Trump&#8217;s attorneys have requested trial\u200c dates that begin after the general\u200d elections, though \u200dnone have yet\u200c been granted.<\/p>\n<h2>Thursday Surrender<\/h2>\n<p>President Trump&#8217;s expected, high profile\u2064 surrender on Thursday was preceded by\u200c a \u200bgathering of supporters\u2063 outside the Fulton\u2062 County jail that began early \u200bin the morning.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-left:0;margin-right:0;max-width:1200px\">\n<figure style=\"width:640px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto\" class=\"aligncenter\"><figcaption>Protestors hold banners at the\u2062 Fulton County Jail\u200d in \u2064Atlanta,\u2062 Ga., on \u2062Aug. 24,\u2063 2023.\u2063 (Madalina Vasiliu\/The Epoch Times)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The dozen or so enthusiastic rallygoers at 7 a.m. grew \u2063to hundreds a few hours later.
